Probably the worst experience I had yet and I’m a fan of La Colombe Coffee, however, today the hospitality was not it. The lady who was taking orders today was just plain rude! She gave me a face when I asked if the order was mine and purposely looked away or acted to do something when I approached the register. Not to mention she did not give me the two croissants I ordered. Keep in mind it was empty. When I asked if I could get my croissant she informed me that she did not charge me but in fact she did, once I showed her the receipt all she said was “oh you did”, did not even apologize. I really hope she doesn’t treat other people like this because if she does, then what’s the whole point of working in a shop that involves taking orders and dealing with customers.

I overheard one of the baristas bragging about getting into a fight with a customer and throwing an orange juice at them. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I can't believe it's being tolerated. La Colombe's standards seem to be slipping.

The cookie was out of this world.
It’s nice to have a coffee in NYC where waiters don’t look like they/them.
Felt warm.

Like other reviewers have stated, there's a petite barista who is incredibly rude. No clue what her issue is but she's clearly not suited to customer interfacing. So sad that people need to take out their internal negativity on others.
Great cappuccino! Fast service but unfortunately no wifi. Plenty of seats available though

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the barista and cashier, Brian and Sofia (if those are even their real names). When I politely asked for my Americano to be redone with just a splash of milk, they both seemed visibly annoyed and acted as though my simple request was a huge inconvenience. If fulfilling a basic customer request is such a burden, maybe they should reconsider their career choice in customer service—or at the very least, take a break to cool off. I’m still in shock over how rude and unprofessional they were. Unacceptable behavior for a coffee shop.

Baaad coffee
Like others have said, my only problem is with the staff. Dude messed up my order and then acted like it was an inconvenience for me to point it out. Yes, sir, it actually does matter if I order a decaf and you give me a regular.

Such watery matcha, asked for strawberry syrup and got barley any tasted plain, matcha is also extremely bitter but not in a high quality sense.
