If you’re wine expert or just want to try good wine-this is the place. Malcolm was super enthusiastic and picked an awesome bottle for us.

It's a cute spot, with a great list. They charge a kitchen service fee, even if you don't order food. I'd be ok with that if their prices were average or below, but they are far from it. Just feels like another way to nickel and dime your guests who are already crammed in.

One of my most favorite wine bars in the city. Vast wine menu with reasonable and honest mark up. Everything tastes great but french onion grilled cheese in particular is absolutely phenomenal. I was very sad when they briefly took that off the menu… but they sure listened to the voice of customers and revived it - made me very happy. Thanks La Compagnie team for great food, wine, and hospitality.

Came here on a Friday night, so it was pretty busy. Was quite loud, so pretty hard to have convos across the table. The wine was unique and very good, but the super French beef tartare was a little too salty for my preference. We also got the basque cheesecake which was quite good. The sauvignon blanc I tried was very fruity and really nice. The pinot noir had a strong earthy smell, but I enjoyed the taste.

Incredible experience. Sat at the bar and had my mind blown. The food was off the charts and Leila offered the perfect pairing for each dish. Looking to rent a room upstairs!

Great ambiance, friendly staff and a huge variety of wines! The charcuterie board and the bread were delicious! Highly recommend it for wine lovers!

Service outstanding, food outstanding, wine outstanding. Malcolm served myself and my friend last week and both of us with our significant others again this week. Amazing, to say the least. The wines were superb, and, as a somm myself, I can’t speak highly enough about his knowledge and recommendations.

I attended a new year's night as I was invited by a friend who works here (disclaimer given) to a themed space party. The decor was nicely done and everybody was dressed up accordingly. I was happy to see people take it seriously and was told the establishment does hold regular programming.I was introduced to the crew who were all a nice set of people. Given they had a show to run, we said our pleasantries and off they went making other people merry. Let my friend do the ordering. There was an event menu. We first got oysters and some skewers, both of which were nice and tasty. The star of the night was the dessert shaped like an egg shell with a wine jelly. The live dj and music was popping and we both danced and enjoyed the music. So with drinks and two appetizers and one dessert and the music/theme was a night well spent.

Best wine bar in the city. Extensive wine list, great food and lovely service. Ask for Malcolm - he’s the best! Super helpful to pick a perfect bottle.

Stumbled upon this charming place on our last night of vacation and only wish we'd found it sooner. The inside was gorgeous and bustling but it was a nice night so we decided to eat outside. It's in the Little Paris part of Soho and it really did feel like we were somewhere European. I was especially impressed by the knowledge of the waiters -all of whom are sommeliers. I barely know anything about wine but they matched me with one of the best I've ever had just by spending a few minutes asking what I liked. Also everyone who waited on us was incredibly friendly -- a rarity in nyc but it was much appreciated.

Be very careful. We got 4 glasses of house wine at their “happy hour”, cost us $96.Tread carefully
