I picked up a pork Bánh mi to go and it was just ok. The bread is way denser than it should be and the pork itself is a tad too sweet. It was filling but it’s a $17 Bánh mi that’s very comparable to some $10 offerings. I’ll come back again to try one of their soup noodles since it seems to be what they’re known for.
4.5/5 stars for food. This is the best Viet spot I’ve found thus far in the 12 years I’ve been in the city.

The Bun Bo Hue could’ve been spicier and more savory, but it was close enough! My sister and BIL had the Pho Tai and they said it was comparable to pho they’ve had in Vietnam. It comes with traditional pickled garlic and birds eye chilies, no need for the hoisin/sriracha that westernized phos require.

Got the crab mango salad, wagyu pho, tamarind duck, beef curry, coconut ice cream, and avocado ice cream. I made a reservation for my birthday for 6:30pm, we were seated at 6:48 pm. The crab mango salad was good and worth the price. The wagyu pho was fine, but very small portion, not worth the price. The tamarind duck was really crispy and well sauced, worth the price.
