I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and everytime it’s amazing. Next week we are celebrating a friends 50th birthday. She’s will be visiting from out of town and we really want to give her an amazing experience so we chose La Esquina as our dinner spot. Anyways, we needed to adjust our reservations and were SUPER lucky when Ian picked up the phone. He was so sweet and charming and worked his magic and made dinner at 7:30 happen for us next Friday night. Ian, we haven’t even arrived and you have already made this a great experience. Food was absolutely delicious, would only recommend ordering more than you think as portions are on the smaller side.

Quite expensive, small dishes but nice environment for one time experience. The music gets veryyyyy loud around 7:30 pm, before that it’s also loud but not as much. The food is good but not something unusual.

I’m sorry but the dj sucked on friday 27th, played rap half of the time when it’s supposed to be a latin party… plus his remix sucked. Me and my group of 10 ended up leaving bc of it

I went pretty late so I didn't have an opportunity to get food. However, the drinks were amazing! (I went with the passion fruit margarita) The ambiance and vibe were a plus. Good music & great vibes. Perfect Friday night activity!
Keep on giving them a chance but the lack of attention to their customers is obvious. I understand being busy but cherry picking who's table to go to greatly affects the experience as you feel ignored. Food is meh. Best part is the location because it's a great place for people watching

I LOVE this place. The chicken tinga tacos w chipotle sauce are my favorite in New York! My boyfriend asked me to be official in this place so it's very special to us. It's great for a date night or a fun time w friends. The drinks are good and the bar gets pretty popular at night!
