The Barnstable was unpleasant nasty French woman,I've been to this establishment around ten times and that the second time that woman was very nasty to me,the EVIL look that she gave me because I had problem get the lead on the cup,but I must say that the young lady that serve me was so delightful and the food is delicious but after paying $22 and pay 75c for the cup I will not be setting foot in this place again
The guy at the front taking orders is so rude and not friendly at all (the Asian guy). Why would you employ someone like that?

The baguette is pretty decent. The croissants and pain au chocolat are really underwhelming: The lamination is off, the butter choice is odd, they are way too big and the bake is also off as they are extremely light

I stopped by La Farine on the Upper West Side and instantly fell in love with the cozy vibe and the smell of freshly baked pastries. Everything feels so authentic — from the buttery croissants to the perfect coffee.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your breakfast or lunch. My favorites were the almond croissant and the tuna salad in baguette — both absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the best bakeries and coffee spots in the neighborhood.

The croissants were AMAZING!! Not to mention the top notch service. I definitely to go back just for the strawberry croissant. 100/10!

Spiritual almond chocolate croissant and probably the best in the city
Pastry was fine but not amazing. The seating area is comfortable. Service is fine.
I think they are trying too hard with the fancy and French vibe.
I love this place! The pumpkin spice latte was amazing — perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it a great spot to work from home or get some studying done. The staff are super friendly, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. Definitely my new go-to coffee and pastry spot!

This is my first and last time visiting this pastry shop. The barista gave me and my husband such a nasty stare down. I don’t know her from a can of paint. It was so unprofessional and rude. This place feels unwelcoming to people of color, but I’m not missing out on anything special anyway, since the chocolate chip cookie is horrible. A bad cookie and a Karen barista are enough for me to never return.
Perfect addition to the neighborhood. Bread is amazing.

NYC needs 100 more cafes like this. Good food that doesn’t require a $50 sit down meal.
Great bakery, sandwiches, and Sweetleaf coffee! Seating upstairs.
