I reserved this for my husband's birthday and that was acknowledge by the host and waiter. Our table was a corner where we were next to another group and shared a bench. This is a crowded lively place and it felt like we were too close to the other group and there were no other options. Our drinks were great. I had a grey goose dirty with BC olives and he had bourbon on the rock. Oyster appetizer was great although pricey. Hubby had the dry aged ribeye and he really enjoyed it. The side of Brussel sprouts were terrible. They had little flavor and seemed boiled more than roasted. I had the beef bourginon and it was very average. One of the pieces of was very dry and the carrots were hard. The sauce was flavorless. We ended with the basque cheesecake. They lit a sparkler on it and that was the extent of the birthday moment. It was very good. The sea salt Carmel Sauce was good. Overall not the best place we've gone in NYC. Hubby was happy and since it was his birthday that's what mattered.
Service was poor. Too long to order. Had to ask multiple times for certqain things. Very slow (only a few active tables) yet our server seemed to be ignoring us.
We enjoyed this for lunch on the day we flew into the city. The food was delicious, service was friendly and responsive, and the restaurant is beautiful! Get the French Onion Soup and Beef Sandwich - chefs kiss!
Soggy, cold French fries and possibly the worst, flavorless salmon I have ever had, at beyond ridiculous prices.
Beautiful place with very good food, lots of options on the menu. Service wasn't as top notch as I would have expected there but was still good... just not great.
Not the best french food in NYC. Escargots not that tasty. Too much cauliflower florets and not enough scallops in main dish. Service towards desert got too slow.
It's a very lively place and difficult to hear if you're seated in the back. The hostess led me on an obstacle course to get to my table, only to ask me to walk back to the hostess stand because of an error, and then led me back to the very same table. I understand mistakes happen but I didn't get the sense she cared either way. The meal was rushed because our server was busy so by the time our entrees came, we had to leave for a show. I'd go again but not when I have to be anywhere after.
Worst French restaurant ever, it’s just a tourist trap.

The restaurant located in the atrium of the building straddles both 53rd and 54th street. It is a beautiful restaurant, it has a great bar scene, very enjoyable and the food complements the location.
Their drinks are worth a try, the Lillet Spritz is excellent, the martini delicious. We complimented the drinks with a prosciutto charcuterie board as a starter. We shared the Salad Mesclun with croquettes, which was very good but needed the addition of vinegar in the vinaigrette (maybe they forgot). We followed that with the Prime Steak Frites ( just Ok) and my wife had the Saumon Roti (excellent). After dinner we enjoyed a cheese board along with a complimentary desert and two excellent espresso coffees. For dinner we had a Sancerre and Pinot Noir to complement the dishes. Overall a good lunch / early dinner. Not cheap but delicious.

We had a wonderful dining experience at La Grand Boucherie in Midtown Manhattan. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the service was warm and attentive. No talk about the ambiance which was amazing. A special thanks to SOPHIA, one of the gracious hosts, whose kindness and support made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great Parisian experience.

I had a wonderful experience at La Grande Boucherie. The highlight of the evening was the outstanding service from Alan attentive, friendly, and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. The steak frites were cooked perfectly, the fries were delicious, and the cheesecake was a great way to end the night. My only wish is that the salad menu had more variety. The one I ordered was only tomatoes with very little fennel, so it felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal and not worth the price. Overall, a great spot with fantastic service and well-prepared dishes, not great for salads.
