It is an excellent place to eat Latin American food. There is a little bit of everything and you don't spend more than what you spend on a meal at McDonald's, Subway or any fast food place and it is very tasty to eat here. Stop by to try the food here.

Food is dry. I ordered more than $100 worth of food and there was 1 whole chicken missing. I called the restaurant and there was no sense of service recovery. Pretty much said that it was not their fault but the package was sealed and they did not speak very kindly either. I do not recommend.

They have an "A" rating the space is clean, well kept.. food is delicious and prices are affordable. You can order a combo rice beans the chicken, which includes a 2 Lt. soda and a salad. They have delivery services. The fried takeout food is delicious & area is kept clean.Kid-friendliness: A family of four will be well fed with delicious food and affordable prices.
I purchased combo 2 Beans & Rice, chicken, and pernil were tasteless. The price was the only thing that worked. My suggestion is please season your food. It's not right ? in my opinion. The woman was nice, though. I wouldn't recommend the food here.

Enjoyed a nice meal with my Mommy and the portion was great. We had the Pernil with Moro Rice and got a side of beans as well. We added two Alcapurrias as well as a Tamarindo Drink. Delicious and Refreshing.

It is not a restaurant with authentic Puerto Rican food and is not a Puerto Rican restaurant. Personally, I didn't like the food, the chicken “pastelillos” didn't have enough chicken filling. It seems like you pay to eat only the “pastelillos” dough. And that's not to mention that the staff is rude.

I have been coming to this place for years and my favorite is the beef stew with yellow rice. Also, the Alcapurias (idk how to spell it lol) and Pastelitos are amazing. Tamarind and passionfruit juice are number one :-)
This is my third time here and there are other la isla in Brooklyn and queens.

Popular casual local cuchifritos restaurant. Food and service was really good. Large portions.Vegetarian options: Mix variety of root vegetables, rice beans, plaintains.
Disgusting the rice was hard the steak was unseasoned The beans was watery and their phone line doesn’t work so you can’t call them take your money elsewhere.

Used to eat here all the time , last straw was when I asked for 2 breaded fried chicken cutlets that's on their menu they didn't give me that told me they don't make it and charged me 20$. Over priced, bland, oily with no taste, and not what I wanted, over it.
