Coming here regularly with my family fifteen years ago got us all way into paella. They redesigned the interior and menu a few years back, but underneath the modern gloss is an historic and deeply underrated NYC institution. Particularly love the arroz negro. The staff are also lovely.

Initial server was remarkably rude and reoeatedly ignored our table. Eventually we got a different server who was more attentive. I've had much better Sangria at Botin. The paella was nothing special and not worth $53 for a plate of rice, a few shrimp, a few mussels and a few calamari.
Great authentic Spanish food (Spain)

Superb and friendly service, comfortable environment, and excellent authentic Spanish platos.
I came here for my birthday lunch, and we were sit down by a very kind Spanish lady, who was great. She helped us with everyone, and made sure we had a great meal! I loved the food and wine and would def return again!

I had an amazing experience! Food was amazing, it's been a minute since I had good patatas bravas. The hostess was excellent too. Great food and ambience.
Lovely place. Sat at the bar with my friend and had some drinks and tapas. Would love to come back for happy hour and try some other dishes.

The food was amazing, the waitress was rude, rushing us and dismissive. The bus boy was awesome to us, he should get a promotion.

Food and service were great! Highly recommend the grilled octopus and the black paella. They have a pretty decent selection of desserts as well, particularly their chocolate lava cake and churros.
They got our drink orders wrong. When we got there the restaurant was empty and they placed us right by the bathroom, another story if the place was full.

Best Spanish Restaurant in NYC! Wife is from Spain and we go there every year for a few months. Great value too! Lots of history! Bravas are among the best you'll find anywhere in the world!
