La Nonna's never disappoints. We started with the Caesar salad which was fresh crisp and perfectly balanced. For our mains we had the fettuccine Alfredo which was rich creamy and incredibly comforting along with the pesto pasta dish that was full of fresh vibrant flavor. Every bite was delicious. The service was great and attentive and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Excellent food excellent service and a wonderful experience as always. Highly recommend.
I am shocked at the reviews here saying it's good. Horrible actually. Not an Italian worker in the restaurant and no ambiance, not authentic Italian at all. Very disappointing. Calamari was the size of large onion rings and chewy. A one and done.
Great service and recommend the burrata bruschetta!

When you get there ask for Jose he’s been there for 17 years and knows how to treat his table

My party of 3 arrived a few minutes early for our 6:30pm reservation and were asked to wait near the front door while they set up the table. The space there is quite tight, so it's good that we didn't have to wait long. We were ushered to the farthest corner of the restaurant (near the kitchen). It's the holiday season and the place was packed, so I get it. I could've overlooked this less-than-stellar first impression, but as we sat for nearly 20 minutes without menus or a glass of water, we were getting frustrated. Adding insult to injury another group was seated next to us and IMMEDIATELY waited on. That's when I had to speak up. Things took a more positive turn after that, but it's a shame it had to happen that way. The "entertainment", an opera singer was not enjoyable, in my opinion. The traveling band was much better. Overall, the food was just ok. The sangria was strong and we did get a round of shots. It was my birthday, after all. With all of the options in Little Italy, I will likely not return to La Nonna.

Out of all the open places on the 24th of December in Little Italy, we stumbled upon this restaurant because of its name. Seeing the videos of Nonna, meaning grandma in English, enticed us to try for the first time to celebrate Christmas, and it did not disappoint.
I am not usually a fan of Italian dishes because they’re too heavy for me, but the food was terrific! Even my friends from Texas were happy we dined in there.
Service - amazing! From the receptionist to the servers. A 10/10. Plus, a brilliant singer serenaded us that night. What a merry Christmas!
Atmosphere: Christmas is on point. Decorations, seating arrangements, and space were a no-brainer.

I've been going to this restaurant for a long time and it never disappoints. Everything on the menu is good along with great service and quality. Give this place a try if you're in Little Italy.
We took a 50 minute cab ride for this meal. They were very nice people, but the food was trash. I ordered the filet in wine sauce. Filet was super overcooked and the wine sauce wasn’t reduced enough and super bitter. I had asked for a side of pasta instead of potatoes and veggies. They said they might charge me a little extra. I took one bite of the steak and pushed away. I ate most of the pasta. The bread was good. He didn’t even care that I took one bite. Didn’t ask what they could do. He could care less. Charged me for the full meal.
And charged me for a whole other entree for pasta.
Go to Zia Maria this place it terrible.

I miss my Mimi’s cooking in a daily basis. Family trip to NYC brought us to La Nonna for an authentic delicious Italian meal Thant takes me back to my childhood. The food, service, and the ambience was phenomenal!
