I ordered their signature Berger sandwich on the menu since it’s the only one, which I understand it’s an Italian restaurant and not a burger specialty, but tried their other appetizers and pasta from my other party member.and I asked for everything on the burger and hold the cheese only.my poor burger arrived with nothing other than the meat and pieces of yellow terrible tasting smushed pickels.and the buger itself tasting very bad.the meat is dry and has synthetic metallic taste let alone the too sweat bread.any way i called the server asking him that the onion and tomato juices oozing when touching and mixing with a hot juicy meat bring the taste of a burger. and I asked and insisted on everything on my burger.but he told me he agrees with me on how a burger should be ,and this is the way he eats it too with lettuce , tomato and onion.but this is how they serve it here.nothing but cheese and meat. And his manager dictate that and will not budge to change it or add choices or accommodate other ways.So basically mr steve jobs of la pecora joint had it figured out for all of us weirdo’s who enjoy onion and tomato that is a taboo at la pacora and will mess the sanctity of his un tasty genius patty he created for this establishment that is an average italian restaurant.and it was a sin to accommodate weird people sending them a slice of onion and tomato as burger should be.and he dictate the coke drink you order too.it’s only the tiny tiny little 4 ounce bottle unless you want start collecting small size glass coke bottles on your table?New York is the capital of tast food and good mannered food managers that gave the city it’s food reputation,, but i wonder how real new Yorkers let incompetent like this manager to be here instead of managing a lumbar yard or something.i leave that to them and to this city visitors hopefully one day they file for a taste change ,or more taste accommodation, short of changing this la pecora bianca genius.Dietary restrictions: Adding vegetables to a piece of burger meat is advisable

We came in for early dinner. the restaurant is big and very empty. just few tables were occupied. So honestly I was really surprised when they sorted us next to the occupied table . and keep in mind the tables are so close to each other, so you are basically touch elbows with your neighbouring table.meanwhile the tables around us were empty.we asked to give us another table, and in response we heard- “ Please seat here”.I didn’t like that at all! The waiter was nice and polite, they brought our food pretty fast.We ordered some appetisers, which were good, and some pasta and Branzino filet . The filet was ok, but the spinach was so disgusting. Horrible.Like some sort of slime.

Its a beautiful restaurant- simple elegant- with good variety for Italian foods! I didnt love the drinks and the tables a very tiny for 2. Overall a good experience! The olive oil cake was a bit crusty - perhaps I got a corner slice ;)

I had a great time here. We loved our server, food was very good with the light exception that I hate hate hate spicy food and found it the hard way that the vodka sauce was just too spicy for me. It doesn't mention this on the menu but my husband and I did a quick switch of our meals and his meat sauce was absolutely delicious! I am not typically a fan of meat sauce but this one was absolutely wonderful. The fried zucchini was so perfectly balanced and delicious, everything was truly wonderful. I highly recommend this place and we'd love to go back again.
Came here to celebrate my niece's birthday and I'm so glad that we did. All of the pastas are made in-house and you can definitely tell! Our server Alex was spectacular and had a great knowledge of wine. His personality added to the overall experience we had. Definitely recommend this place 100%

We may have taken up the table a bit too long, but the service truly was excellent, and the food was as good as always.This particular location is a bustling square restaurant.
