I was looking for a quick slice of tasty pizza and I got the quick part. The tasty part was definitely lacking. The cheese had no taste, the sauce was sugary on both of my pieces. The portions were HUGE. I had two slices and couldn’t finish the crust.

Had two slices here and some garlic knots. Yes, I over-ordered. Rookie mistake. The pizza was really good. I liked the crust. The sauce isn't what I'm used to, but it was still good. Very tomatoey and not spicy. Good for a change of pace. Might hit them again while I'm in town. Only a few small tables for dining in.

Great pizza, the guy behind the counter was very polite and the music was also popping! Great find in the area.. I also noticed they let a guy eat that was hungry. I respect that!
It's the KNOTS ....this place has the best GARLIC KNOTS I've ever had. There's a commitment to the knots here. Yum.Didn't even want a slice, but now I'm getting one

Visiting NYC for the day and this place popped up with a distinctly higher rating than most around. I can attest to the reviews being well earned… the pizza was FANTASTIC! Took the guy below’s advice and got the Buffalo chicken. Damn it was good… can’t wait to come back!

La Pizza Italia takes me back to when I was stuck in a Kentucky airport in the middle of the night due to weather. I didn't think it would be possible to make a worse Chicken Parm hero but this new pizza place on 51st managed to pull that off. I'm not sure how long they'll last selling what's clearly "pre made" subs. DISGUSTING
