I had a fabulous time at La Ripaille. The ambience was warm and inviting. Excellent food and service. Looking forward to returning with friends for a classic french cozy bistro experience!
Honestly, La Ripaille is fine. The wine selection is good, the servers are very nice, however the owner is exceptionally rude and uncomfortable to be around. He openly scolded servers doing a fantastic job in the middle of the dining room for no reason. The food is good enough, but a bit overpriced. That being said, the fries taste remarkably like fries that I'm sure you've had before... that's all I'll say about that if you get what I mean. Overall, pretty...
Dining here is always a sublime experience. The food and its presentation is wonderful from the appetizers through desserts. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Not too loud. The owner (who is always there) and the staff are friendly and helpful. Go and enjoy!
