What a Gem of a store! They offer gourmet specialty products that are hard to find and the prices are reasonable considering the quality you get. I’m from Spain and I can say they don’t disappoint worth my subway ride from downtown just to go shop there. The selection of meats, Cheeses, etc is great… and the fact that the staff is so friendly and helpful makes me feel great spending my $ there instead of a huge chain store. Love this place!!!! Great Job guys
there are very few places in the heights where one can find fine imported specialty foods like french butter, pates, and fresh pasta. Great butcher dept and fish dept all in the space the size of a bodega or perhaps a bit larger. And everything is beautifully presented. And at reasonable prices as opposed to Franks on ft wash which is consistently pricey
This mini market is clean, but there is a problem, the butchers who are a little older are sarcastic, oh they want to deprive me of intelligence, because I usually buy a lot of meat and every time I ask them for the quantity (15 pounds of brisket) for example, they say You are sure that that is what you want and when I ask for thighs with laughter and sarcasm and more chickens, there comes a point that bothers me if I ask for it it is because that is what I want, even the desire...
