Ate here on recommendation by family member who lives close. Easy access off #1 subway at 125th stop. Staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Menu was reasonably diverse but not extensive. Started with Xiao Long Bao with pork - excellent. Then had Pork Belly Ramen and Shrimp Lo Mein - both very good. Would recommend and will probably return on future visits.

If you love fresh made dumplings (pork, chicken or shrimp) and classic stir fried dishes, La Salle is the place to drop into on the upper west side. We wanted a simple lunch on a casual Saturday and stopped into La Salle -- a tiny, literal "room" with a friendly staff and honest, fresh-cooked food.
