La Savane d'Afrique is serving some of the most delicious dishes from western sub saharan Africa with the attieké, alloco, multiple types of grilled meat, and fish. The food was absolutely delicious. The service by Zeinab was nothing short of exceptional. A better job could be done with the wine list, but that's another topic. They do offer some cocktails. They environment is clean and well decorated. I recommend this place the next time you go to Harlem.

Each and every item was delicious, and it was such a variety of flavors. We had the Dibi Mouton, which was extremely juicy and flavorful. Just keep in mind, the mutton quantity is quite large. I can eat a lot, but even I couldn't finish it. Even the atieke and the salad that came with it worked as beautiful mouth refresher. Fataya too were tasty. Overall, it was a great experience. Will come here again.

I order from here often and their food is always good. I usually get the gigo, fish, or dibi. On 1/1/2025 I ordered gigo, okra stew and fufu via Uber eats. The restaurant called me directly and stated they were out of fufu. But they offered another option. After about 10 minutes they called again, stating they only had 1 piece of gigo left, the order usually has 2 pieces, and asked if I wanted to receive $20 off my next purchase or let Uber eats know I didn't receive my order for a refund. I decided to receive the $20 off, because the food still came and was delicious and I have eaten with them several times. I will update my review once I have redeemed the $20 off. But if you want really good african food, their it!

The food is good but on the other hand see the staff 4 times I was there and 3 times I was mistreated yesterday November 30 at 5 p.m. I was there with a friend I talked so much about this restaurant but in the end I received frustration from little Claire just because we took 30 minutes to eat while we took several dishes because I wanted to make my foreign friend taste Ivorian food In front of other customers who looked at me and told me to forget See your staff again mr they are very rude the 2 young girls and the young one can be in black shape. And for that reason, sorry, I do not recommend this restaurant. Your staff treats people at the height of the tip that we give them very very bad experience in front of my friend your employees are very very very rude

Stay away!! I ordered dibi poulet. The meat arrived COLD. Meat taste like it had been dipped in a bucket of salt before getting cooked. I have never eaten anything with as much salt in my entire life. No other seasoning, was just SUPER SALTY meat. AND I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM THE MEAT. Makes me think they had cooked it several days ago and just refrigerated and it spoiled. So disappointing!!! Stay away from this restaurant

So good! The location itself is quite small and they ran out of alot of their seafood options but still what we ordered slapped. We got the fried, whole fish with jollof rice. The fish was super fresh and crispy yet flatlet on the inside. It came with a small container of hot sauce that wasn't ridiculously spicy but perfect and then a very well seasoned vegetable salad/ marinade mix that was also so fire. Price and portions arent bad either. You get full off $25 and may still have leftovers. Highly recommend!

The manager was too busy arguing on the phone with admin issues than focusing on the customers at hand.
