This place serves food that I could crave on a weekly schedule. The team shows exceptional pleasantness and flexibility, with prompt meal service. The dishes are outstanding. Our order allowed everyone to try multiple dishes. I certainly plan to return soon.
Best African food around! If you know how to order, you’re in for a true gift! I usually get the poisson braise (grilled fish) with attieke (“acheke” or ground cassava) and aloko (sweet plantains).

La Savane d'Afrique is serving some of the most delicious dishes from western sub saharan Africa with the attieké, alloco, multiple types of grilled meat, and fish.
The food was absolutely delicious. The service by Zeinab was nothing short of exceptional. A better job could be done with the wine list, but that's another topic. They do offer some cocktails. They environment is clean and well decorated. I recommend this place the next time you go to Harlem.
