Wow. Went last night with my book club and we had an excellent time. Wonderful helpful staff. A quirky menu with some French classics and unexpected items all executed perfectly. I loved the Parisian gnocchi (which is not at all like the italian version!) others enjoyed the cassoulet, steak au poivre and vegetarian(!) French onion soup. Great desserts too. Perfect place for a quiet dinner.

My expectations were blown away by each course. Team members maintained service uniquely excellent. Limited seating doesn't prevent customer loyalty here. The taste is wonderful! Our next meal will be here.

This restaurant don’t have real french food
Escorgos were heavily spiced and look as they were sitting in the freezer like Gordon Ramsey suggest
Lamb shank was not lamb shank they were lamb chops with heavy fat on them and fried extremely oily and vegetable were for kids school lunch portion , Home made ice cream was tasteless and not acceptable , they were not friendly only there to collect big cha I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone only people with no knowledge of French food can eat there many Asian Chinese were there
Who we saw had no clue about the French food

I came to La Sirene in Soho during restaurant week and I was so pleasantly surprised! Although I've been to other French restaurants in nyc, my visit to La Sirene felt like the most authentic experience I could have outside of France.
I tried escargot for the first time, which I thoroughly enjoyed, tried foie gras, and my salmon, that sat in a delicate saffron sauce was great. Even the cocktails we had were so delicious and balanced. Those were some of the best lemon drops I've had in my life. I'll be back with my bf for sure!

Nice small place, but a bit too dark of an interior.

So good. I was hoping for a good restaurant week in SoHo and this exceeded expectations. The food was excellent and the service/ambience was wonderful as well. The truffle ravioli are to die for and the escargot/both steaks (hanger & filet) were delectable.
I couldn’t recommend it more. My bestie and I were so satisfied with the meal and the sweet treat at the end was the perfect finale (the mango sorbet was great).

Wow… just wow. One of the best meals I’ve had in NYC. My best friend and I went for Restaurant Week and devoured everything. I’m still dreaming about the ravioli and escargot from the appetizer selection. Filet mignon and hanger steaks were chefs kiss. Even the dessert was very light and dreamy. Honestly one of the best deals for Restaurant Week ~~ perfect for trying a bunch of dishes, especially if you’re with a friend or group. Even outside of Restaurant Week, I’ll be back. Service was amazing, restaurant was clean. Already excited to go back!

Really great French restaurant! To be honest, I was surprised at how much I liked it. I like French food but I tend to find it a little bit... traditional, not a lot of places stand out. The food here was great, it was definitely one of the best French restaurants I've been to and I've been to Paris!
I went here with a friend and we tried several dishes. The standouts to me were the baked goat cheese tart (delicious!), the French ravioli, the filet mignon, and the banana crème brûlée. The filet mignon was probably one of the best steaks I've had. It was perfectly cooked medium rare, very well seasoned, and very tender. I love all things banana so the banana crème brûlée was fantastic.
Prices are a little on the high side so it is more of a special treat type of place. I don't think it's overpriced because the food was very well made and clearly had a ton of effort and care put into it. I think it's definitely worth it but it is not a cheap meal.
Service was great as well, we were in a bit of a rush because we had a show to go to after, and they very accommodating. Only other thing to mention, the website says that for credit cards they only take AMEX but when I was there I overheard someone asking and they were told that they take all major credit cards. Might be a recent change? It is worth calling to make sure.
Definitely recommend, and I hope to be back sometime!
