Hearing rumors on neighborhood, we walked by today to look. Found this notice posted on windows of restaurant as well as the wine bar/pizza place on the corner. Looking in window, the restaurant is already cleaned out. Dumpster on the street. So sad as we really liked this restaurant.
Update Feb 7. Walked by late afternoon and see Pizza/WINE Bar is back open .

We saw this place and the menu and were excited to come. Unfortunately, it did not deliver. My minestrone was a bowl of mush... I never send food back, but it was really bad. I apologized and asked if I could get a different soup or a side of pasta and pay any difference. I told them it was all mushy like it had been over cooked, no bite to any of the individual pieces, no recognizable broth, just all mush. They argued that is how minestrone is suppose to be. I said, I don't think so, and I apologize, but please can I get something instead. They sent over another server who also argued about how fresh it was and how it is fresh made. I invited them to simply look at it and trust me that it really wasn't good. They finally relented, and let me get an small plate instead and pay just for it. Honestly, if they would have just made it right without arguing and trying to embarrass me, it would have been just fine, things happen. But they really pushed back... on a BOWL OF SOUP. Super disappointing.

Having a reservation for 8:15, kipping till 8:30 in front of the door, and with a table ready in front of us. When I asked why they kept us in the front, the answer was that they have another reservation, nobody was there waiting to get seated.

Not recommending. Not professional at all. Very Judgemental Looks from a server’s and management. If you have a reservation for 2 and another reservation is coming soon for the last table and it’s more then 2 people you will not get seated they will keep you at the door. Just horrible. It’s not a customer service. It’s more money service .

Fabulous food and great service. But their website needs to be updated as prices were higher than website indicated. Big menu and lovely intimate ambiance. Nice to be in a neighborhood and not in the noisy part of Manhattan.

There is no basic green salad on the menu so we asked for one. Big mistake. They charged us $19.95 apiece for greens and a little bit of chopped tomato with a vinaigrette. The pasta is mostly pleasant but a place that gouges you on the small stuff isn't worth the visit. We won't rush back

We had a wonderful dinner with great pasta, wine, and appetizers. Enjoyed the fact that it was very quiet because the locals have all vacated for the summer. A nice neighborhood place.
