We saw this place and the menu and were excited to come. Unfortunately, it did not deliver. My minestrone was a bowl of mush... I never send food back, but it was really bad. I apologized and asked if I could get a different soup or a side of pasta and pay any difference. I told them it was all mushy like it had been over cooked, no bite to any of the individual pieces, no recognizable broth, just all mush. They argued that is how minestrone is suppose to be. Fabulous food and great service. But their website needs to be updated as prices were higher than website indicated. Big menu and lovely intimate ambiance. Nice to be in a neighborhood and not in the noisy part of Manhattan.
There is no basic green salad on the menu so we asked for one. Big mistake. They charged us $19.95 apiece for greens and a little bit of chopped tomato with a vinaigrette. The pasta is mostly pleasant but a place that gouges you on the small stuff isn't worth the visit. We won't rush back
