No Restrooms and coffee served in paper cups. So even if macarons are super, service lives a lot to be desired and destroys atmosphere. Ordered macarons for 4 person- all got on one plate… the lady explains few time which colour is which tase :) maybe they afraid someone stole plates?

Delicious macarons and coffee! It is relatively busy so it takes a little time to order.

Way to expensive for the bad quality of the macarons

Me and family been coming here for years and this is the first time I felt uneasy at this location…the Spanish boy that works at this location during closing hours is extremely rude, and does not know how to smile. On multiple occasions he tells us a product we want to buy is already sold even though it’s available on display and we can all see it. I don’t know if his saving it for his friends or something but it’s very odd situation…

The macarons are excelent, my only issue was that they only had 2 flavors when I went there. Looking forward to go back and try other options.

The store looks absolutely stunning and very chic. Beautiful displays with delicious pastries that are truly a feast for the eyes. However, the experience was disappointing. While the pastries are pricey (as expected for Ladurée), I was shocked to receive my drink in a disposable cup and my expensive pastry with disposable cutlery when sitting at a table inside. It felt cheap and out of place for such an upscale setting. The flavors were excellent, but the overall experience was a letdown. Definitely not worth it—big no-go. Style without substance.

We had too high hopes because my friend had been to Ladurée in Paris and was so excited to visit this store in New York. The macarons were good, but not ‘wow’ amazing or exceptionally delicious.

The pastries were lovely. The atmosphere and feel was solid. It didn't wow me fully. But a solid time regardless.

Today December 6th and time of 9:46 am,
I ordered pastries from the the Madison Ave store.
One Ispahan Macaron
One Plaisir Sucre
And one box with macaroons

Who ever handled this order was lazy so she or he used one small bag which didn’t fit the items with the result of looking messy and terrible on top of that, they wrote my name with a black marker like they were doing whole foods delivery.

This was a Birthday gift for a very special person in my life and they ruined it. When he opened the box with the Ispahan macaron, it was smashed and looked like a mess!

I can’t believe that Laduree has such incredibly careless employees with no imagination or responsibility handling outgoing orders!
I don’t want to think that Laduree hires low pay ignorant uneducated employees.
Shame!

One of my faves in town, very kind and accommodating staff, enjoyed the macarons and chocolate desserts a lot. Although did wish that there were more seats!!

Rude! Awful customer service. Speaking French and laughing when I asked why a man that walked in and didn’t wait on line was helped before me. The woman responded I should’ve spoken up because they are too busy to see who’s waiting and who arrives first. No apologies . Had zero care for my time.

I am a regular customer and don’t understand why they don’t have enough employees. I often wait 10-15 minutes just to order.

We've visited Laduree in Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, NYC and Toronto. This iconic French brand has the most beautiful + yummy macarons anywhere. Paris (mothership) and Toronto also have the prettiest cafes. The Madison store is well-situated but more table space would allow customers to enjoy both the patisserie's incredible treats and the sites/sounds of the Upper Eastside. Oct 2024 - still a wonderful oasis on the Upper Eastside. Delicious Plaisir Sucre + Eugenie.
