The store looks absolutely stunning and very chic. Beautiful displays with delicious pastries that are truly a feast for the eyes. However, the experience was disappointing. While the pastries are pricey (as expected for Ladurée), I was shocked to receive my drink in a disposable cup and my expensive pastry with disposable cutlery when sitting at a table inside. It felt cheap and out of place for such an upscale setting. The flavors were excellent, but the overall experience...

We had too high hopes because my friend had been to Ladurée in Paris and was so excited to visit this store in New York. The macarons were good, but not ‘wow’ amazing or exceptionally delicious.

We've visited Laduree in Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, NYC and Toronto. This iconic French brand has the most beautiful + yummy macarons anywhere. Paris (mothership) and Toronto also have the prettiest cafes. The Madison store is well-situated but more table space would allow customers to enjoy both the patisserie's incredible treats and the sites/sounds of the Upper Eastside. Oct 2024 - still a wonderful oasis on the Upper Eastside. Delicious Plaisir Sucre + Eugenie.
