The Ladurée is absolutely gorgeous. The scenery is exquisite, and it's easy to tell that every aspect of the restaurant is thoughtfully pondered over. The food portions are the small size expectation of a European restaurant and wonderful. The tea, on the other hand, was underwhelming. It was lacking in the flavor weight department, and I simply wish it was stronger. Moreover, the lovely scenery and quality service make up for any other imperfections.

This place is decorated so beautifully and you will not regret getting a seat in the outdoor garden area. Food is good and their pastries are top-tier. Especially recommend their macarons, croissants and financiers. Service was excellent as well.

The outside garden is really beautiful and so nice to be able to come to in the spring, especially April for the cherry blossoms. The French onion soup is great and the mocktails are so nice. My favorite dessert is definitely the ispahan

We were there recently when my daughters treated me to a retirement tea. The outdoor garden with tables is beautiful. The service is slow as they do not have enough staff. The food needs more savory items. The deserts were amazing ! It is Ladurée afterall. Overall an amazing experience sans champagne as the restaurant missed renewing the liqour license. The setting is incredibly lovely in the heart of Manhattan. Will be 5 star with a few changes.
Met a couple of girlfriends visiting from London for breakfast today. We were immediately seated outdoors (my preference.) They have a full menu including lots of sweets, tea sandwiches, and teas and coffees. We had chia pudding, rose croissant, cappuccino, and pots of tea. Approximately $30 per person.Vegetarian options: Beyond the chia pudding there were few vegan options. (One member of our party was vegan.)
I do not recommend. My friend and I had reservations that we made weeks ago. When we came in, the attitude of the host/server was like “you can only sit down if you eat or drink. Tea and pastries you have to eat in front. You cannot sit in the courtyard unless you eat and drink”. For such a hard reservation to get, it’s not worth it. We ordered the non alcoholic mocktails because they don’t currently have a liquor license and they were $17 and not even good. Poor service and the environment was very jarring. You can definitely find much better places in the city.

Based on my experience, it seemed the host chooses who gets to seat outside. We had a reservation, asked to be seated outside. The host said they didn't have tables and that it was cold outside. But in the spam of the following 5 minutes, the same host sat 2 couples and a family with kids outside. We got sat on a horrible table with tons of foot traffic, all cramped. I was taking a friend out for a celebration and we felt so uncomfortable. The waiter that served her water was rude to her.Anyway, we decided to leave. They did comp our drinks that we didn't finish cause we just wanted to leave.

Divine macarons!!! The price is more in terms of euros than dollars. But it was worth every dollar! An incredible flavor experience! There is a wide variety of sweets, but for the prices, we only chose macarons as the store has an excellent reputation and it lives up to it.
