When we visited in November, there was no indoor seating or restroom access, which was inconvenient. That aside, the dessert was enjoyable—though I likely would have appreciated it more if I had been more comfortable. Additionally, a warmer and more welcoming attitude from the staff would have improved the experience.

We were looking for the best cheesecakes in NY, and this café came highly recommended. However, it turns out that the place doesn’t actually serve cheesecakes; instead, they specialize in crepe cakes (or Mille Crêpes). These are absolutely delicious—not too sweet and they melt in your mouth. We tried the signature flavor and will likely return to try others if we get the chance.
The café has a small sit-down area with a few tables, but be aware that it closes around 5 PM (between 5 and 6 you can get take-away only). Luckily, we arrived just in time to snag a spot. There’s also a restroom at the back which wasn’t obvious from first glance.

I had a disappointing experience at Lady M. I went in with my baby, who was peacefully sleeping in the stroller. The cashier rudely told me to leave the stroller outside, with no apology or understanding. I even offered to sit in a corner to avoid disturbing other customers, but the cashier dismissed me, saying it was a rule and there was nothing he could do as an employee. The lack of courtesy and flexibility was frustrating, and it left a very negative impression.

The cakes are great & it used to be a fave of mine but the service is terrible. I ordered multiple items to-go & I wanted to eat a few bites of one before I heading to a work meeting but, despite the place being completely empty, the staff refused to let me sit down unless I wasted my life giving them my time for full table service. So, I stood out in the street to take a bite instead & now I’ll never eat anything from LadyM again because it just left me thinking poorly about the brand. There are plenty of other brands out there now making mille crepes & I love the Chinatown bakery variations

Love the cakes. Service is terrible. Daughter is allergic to milk, we asked to add water to the rose iced tea instead of milk, for the same price, and got a hard "NO" because she can't "INVENT DRINKS". The lady that was working at the 78th St location (NYC) on August 27 at 1:45pm was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. I still don't understand why adding water to iced tea in place of milk was impossible. In the end a gentleman came out and he was very nice, but at that point we already paid and were walking out. The lady at the counter made it an unpleasant experience.

Take out only! No any table and chair to seat, not match with picture. Not good for travelers.

I have been visiting Lady M many times. The signature layer cakes were not as good as they used to be. The crepe were hard, not buttery soft, the cream tasted different.
It’s impossible to imagine that the recipes are changed, maybe the cakes were not made fresh on that day.
The two staff did not smile once the entire time we dined there. Did not look like they want to work there.

An inventive take on a multilayer cake using crepes. Very creative flavor combos. We tried the chocolate as well as the tiramisu slices. Iced lattes were life restoring! Service was attentive and professional. A little "slice" of the EU on the upper East Side.
