We ordered shots and then were forced to get up and move downstairs even though it wasn’t closing time and there was nowhere to stand. We had to take our shots crouched in the walkway…. The guy at the door was also very drunk and aggressive.

Visted from out of town and came around 9pm for dinner, we were asked to get up as soon as our food came and were forced to eat STANDING UP. Terrible service the ladies were RUDE. Will never be back when im in NYC again. Food was also subpar only to be overpriced.

Wow I actually stumbled across this spot walking around with the ladies and no idea where to go. When we saw this swanky record shop and a few people out front and they said well stop in there Las' Lap. Great atmosphere, down to earth people with an amazing bartender. Had a few drinks with a cool happy hour menu. I wish I had ate there...next time..

I stopped by Las’ Lap after work on a Thursday after hearing good things about it. My friend and I tried the jerk chicken egg rolls and the codfish fritters for our starters. If I had to choose between these two options, the codfish fritters would be my pick. For the big tings, we got the jerk chicken and the oxtail. Both of these were amazing, and the sides they came with were tasty. The service was good. The waitress recommended drinks and answered all our questions. The ambiance was great. Dim lighting with great music made it feel very intimate. I would say take advantage of happy hour if you want to visit, but I've already recommended this place to multiple people since my visit. I will be returning!

We went this past Saturday for a late dinner to celebrate our cousin's birthday, and we were VERY IMPRESSED!!! The food, staff, and service were phenomenal. Our waiter Jeffrey was great and very friendly. Everything he recommended for us was delicious. We will definitely be back.

I have been dying to try this place for a while now, heard nothing but great things, and it did not disappoint. The vibe was nice even though I went on a Wednesday and the staff was so friendly. It’s a bit hard to find the entrance, as it is very discrete (speakeasy vibes), but once inside the place is decorated really nice. I had the jerk chicken eggrolls and it was sooo good that we ordered a second batch! The drinks were very tasty and tropical! I definitely recommend this place, it’s a great date spot.
