They charged me $20 a person to get in but everyone I talked to in the bar didn’t have to pay to enter. I was the only white person in the bar so it felt like discrimination. I don’t recommend going here.

2nd time here and with great experiences. Our waiter was Tyrone and when I say EXCEPTIONAL service! He was the best! I would come back and ask for him lol. But overall great experience, I will make Las Lap a stop every time I'm in town!

This is one of my favorite spots in the lower east. The crowd is mature, the vibes are always popping, even on a weeknight and the music never disappoints. The food is good and the drinks are strong, you simply can’t go wrong. This is one of my go to spots for a guaranteed good time.

This restaurant/lounge is not it. Fellas, it is 2023, and they are still charging $60 to get in for each guy on Friday and Saturday nights. It was 3 of us, and they wanted $180 just to get in. Then, to turn and spend more while you're inside. I asked why the charge was so high. They said because we have the ladies and you want to see the ladies. Nah, brother, this ain't it!Look, if you wanna throw away $60, each person... go right ahead, but I won't be returning.That's my experience.

Mid , Mid , MID! It was my first time there but I was not impressed at all (just my take on it) and if I’m honest not a place I would have personally picked. I was invited here by a friend. For starters you need ID to get in at around 8pm , not sure why, but you need ID . The seating is very intimate and my date and I were seated by the door. Maybe it was where we were seated but I could barley hear him over the music playing. The servers were very nice and attentive but casual.We ordered the jerk shrimp salad, oxtails and spicy margaritas. I didn’t taste the oxtails but the shrimp salad was basic tasting. Jerk sauce underwhelmed. I’m a Brooklyn girly so when you say jerk I’m expecting JERK!. The margaritas were mid as well and barley any alcohol. Esthetics looked nice , although I didn’t get to see the upstairs. This place can be cool for certain a ones , however it’s just not my speed .

Bars/clubs in LES really need to work on being more inclusive. The whole “girls are $5 guys are $20” thing is outdated.Some people don’t identify as girl or guy.. so.. what now? $10? Lol but of course the bouncers these places hire are ignorant as hell and will just laugh in your face if you hit them with that

if you enjoy Caribbean food - this is your spot! love the vibes and everything. we thought the music was way too loud, couldn’t even hear each other talk but it was still a good time and i’d come back to try their drinks• sweet chili wings 10/10, so crispy and juicy within every bite. it was our absolute favorite! $12 for 6 wings• macaroni pie 9/10 it was so good, not heavy at all, and would totally get it again! we saw so many people having this on their table so we had to get it. $8• jerk chicken - this was so delicious and full of flavor. i wished the jerk sauce was more spicy but it was still very good! loved the rice and beans and especially the cabbage? it was such a good combo! $25• jerk shrimp sliders - very good! this was served with coco bread. $18they have so many cocktails to choose from! unfortunately, i didn’t love their espresso martini and didn’t try another drink but my friend loved hers! the espresso martini was not made with espresso for me - very light colored and not foamy. however, the party next to me had a darker drink and it was foamy.

Bartender was passive aggressive in a good way with a smile getting his job done. The vibes were super friendly and mature crowd, a girl across the bar sent me shots . Music was diverse. Will return !!

So goood! I went fairly early. So it wasn’t crowded. Food was amazing, service was great and atmosphere was on point. I was visiting from out of town but I will recommend to everyone. Not sure what drink I had, but it was delicious. I also had a ginger tumeric wellness shot…..obsessed. I’ve tried to recreate back home with no success, so I have to go back. I love oxtails but I’m not very picky. So I loved themVegetarian options: Our waitress recommended an off menu dish of sides. It was very good and filling.
