For the first time in many visits to Lattanzi, we were disappointed in the service. Our waiter didn't know anything about the wine list. We asked what the labels were on the wines. He didn't know. I asked about the Sauvignon Blanc origin and he told me it was a sweet wine (it's not!). When he delivered the wines, he mixed them up and gave each of us the wrong wine. He was also completely absent until it was time to ask if we wanted dessert. Then, he was absent when we needed the check. This is very surprising for service at Lattanzi. It's usually very helpful and attentive.

Enjoyed a pre theater dinner. We were allowed to have a leisurely meal which was prepared so well. All four of us enjoyed every morsel of food on the plate. Highly recommended for good food, nice atmosphere & friendly staff.

Lattanzi never disappoints. We've been coming to them for 20 years, maybe more and we always leave happy. Great place pre-show...they ask what time your show is and get you out without a wisp of worry! And the food is creative and delicious!

I booked Lattanzi to celebrate my birthday, which was noted on the booking, but unfortunately the experience felt disappointing. When it came time for dessert, I had to remind our server that it was my birthday, something that should have been acknowledged without prompting. He responded enthusiastically, saying they'd sing to me, but when they did, they didn't even know my name. It ended up feeling more awkward than celebratory. Another frustrating moment was when my friend and I decided to share three different pastas. The server suggested the chef would plate them for us, which sounded great until we realized each portion was tiny (literally two raviolis per plate). Despite that, we were still charged the full price for all three dishes. I would have much rather received full servings. I understand the restaurant was busy, but it's disappointing when a special occasion goes unacknowledged and the dining experience feels rushed and impersonal. For the reputation and price, I expected much better attention to detail and hospitality.

This was our first visit based on a friend's recommendation. It was well worth the visit. Both dinner and service were wonderful. Expertly prepared and served with care. We never felt rushed. A truly enjoyable evening.
I’ve been enjoying Lattanzi’s food since they opened on Restaurant Row in 1984. A recent visit confirmed that Lattanzi’s high standards are unchanged from every previous visit. And Eddy is still there, the very polished and friendly Maitre’d!

We were here for lunch and they have great 3 course specials but we decided too much food in middle of the day. So we split a salad and then each had a main course. Excellent service and the food had great flavor. The salad was huge and had pear in it which is a wonderful touch.
