Great local spot with good cocktails and a delicious GF breakfast burrito.

The banana bread is really sweet and imo could use a more savory butter but it was still great.

This is my favourite bar and restaurant in New York! The vibes are 10/10! Best place for a date or catch up with friends. Their espresso martini is unbeatable and food is chefs kiss.

I attended the Willy’s Pies X Layla Brooklyn pop-up and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed.

I originally made a reservation for three people. The reservation time was changed twice without notice, and when we arrived we were told they were expecting only two guests. It appeared that our party size had been altered without our knowledge. As a result, the three of us were seated uncomfortably at the bar, which made us feel cramped from the start.

We ordered two pies, each priced at $42 dollars. The pies were served on small plates with a modest portion of mashed potatoes and a small amount of cabbage. I was surprised by how small the pies were for the price. Given that the pies are sold for £5.50 in the UK, the markup felt excessive. I understand that this was a Brooklyn pop up and pricing reflects overhead, but the portion size and overall experience did not justify the cost.

I had been genuinely excited for this collaboration, but the limited menu, uncomfortable seating, and portion size left me feeling disappointed and taken advantage of rather than impressed.

Super overpriced and very small portions. Worst $25 app I’ve had not even that tasty. The pasta wasn’t that good

Yet another lovely evening at Layla’s NYC! It’s the perfect location for delicious Turkish food served in a cozy, warm atmosphere with wonderful staff. Our server, Emily, was so knowledgeable about the menu and assisted us in selecting the perfect combination and amount of small plated food.
Thank you again ….we look forward to returning very soon.

I went to Layla for brunch and it was absolutely lovely. I have a deep love for the space given it was the old Rabbithole, one of my beloved brunch spots. But I must say they did a really wonderful job with the interior, keeping its charm and even elevating it.

The food was incredible. I got the Turkish eggs with a side of avocado. I am an egg aficionado and let me tell you, these were the best eggs I've ever had. The poach was the most perfect poach ever. The flavors of the labne and spices were to die for. Everything was so creamy and beautiful and melted in my mouth, it was pure bliss and heaven. The avocado was also scrumptious and paired nicely with the sourdough.

The service was outstanding. Out waitress was super hospitable, warm, and generous with making us feel welcome.

I will definitely be coming back both solo for the eggs and with friends to enjoy the atmosphere more.

There are bad drinks, and then there are drinks that feel like a personal attack. What I was served here falls firmly into the latter category.

An Aperol Spritz arrived with an olive floating in it - an abomination that defies both logic and decency. The highball somehow managed to taste like sour, rotting fabric - a flavor I didn’t think possible outside of a chemistry lab accident.

Every sip felt like punishment. There’s a difference between inventive and reckless, and this bar doesn’t seem to know it. The entire experience was a masterclass in how to ruin perfectly good ingredients and insult your palate in the process.

Oh and the volume in this place is crazy bad. Every table was screaming since you can’t hear anything.

Could be one of the worst “wanna be” bars in the world.

Absolutely loved our experience at Layla!
The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, with amazing food and great energy all around. Everything we ordered was delicious full of flavor and beautifully presented.

A special shoutout to Marcus, our server and bartender, who truly made the it memorable! He was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations . It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such an easygoing and positive vibe.

We will definitely be coming back soon highly recommend Layla to anyone looking for a breakfast brunch or dinner .

This is my favorite spot in williamsburg. The drinks are great, the beer is cold and the people are insanely nice! Also don’t skip the banana bread. It’s absolute perfection.
