This restaurant knows its strengths and plays to them well. Their diverse dishes all deliver satisfaction. All staff members approached with genuine warmth. The food options are unique and I'm glad this spot is part of our community. I stand behind this spot completely.

Absolutely phenomenal staff, amazing bites, and cold crisp cocktails if you are looking for non-intimidating French hospitality. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a no fuss dinner with good vibes.

Following Pride, I visited a restaurant where I encountered some challenges. It seemed that the staff had a preconceived notion about certain guests, leading to a situation where individuals were not welcomed based on their identity. I was informed that the restaurant was closed to those they deemed not fitting their vision. It would be beneficial for establishments to foster an inclusive atmosphere that welcomes everyone.

My family was hangry and looking for a lunch place in the neighborhood. We found the right spot. Very warm staff and excellent food and drinks. I liked the atmosphere and felt like it was a Belgium experience. I definitely would want to go back.

Shoutout to Mike for accommodating us with our reservation, and to the other staff here for making our night so incredible. Service was AMAZING, the food and drinks were divine and the vibes were top-notch. This was our first visit here but it won’t be our last. Highly recommend!!!!

Great ambience, food, and friendly staff. Reminds me of fond memories having dinner in Paris!

Had a great meal at Le Baratin. The food really stood out—especially the steak frites, which was cooked perfectly, and the French toast, which was rich and flavorful. Both dishes were top-notch. The atmosphere, however, felt a little off—maybe it was the lighting or the music, but it didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Still, definitely worth visiting for the food alone.

Coming in again for sure.

My husband said, “this is the closest I’ve felt to being in Paris without being in Paris” and I agree! This was excellent. Food was amazing and they had a great wine selection. I got the chicken cordon bleu and my husband got the chicken coq au vin. We also shared the beet and mango appetizer. Everything was fabulous and we plan to come back when we visit NYC in the future!

I do not recommend this place at all! The staff seems to pick and choose who they want to keep in the bar. My friend and I went there to check it out, and as soon as we arrived, they started pressuring us to order drinks. While we were still deciding what to get, the ‘manager’ came over and rudely asked us to leave. It was an incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional way to treat customers. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this bar!!!!!!

What a terrible experience. I was literally kicked out of the bar because I don’t drink. I have been to the best places in NYC and it never happened to me. Very inconsiderate. It’s not worth it visiting this place.

Very cute place. I happened upon it completely by accident. The people I interacted with immediately were the host, the waitress - Katya, and the bartender - who I believe is Armand. They were really sweet. I enjoy going to places where you are greeted the moment you enter. It was a very welcoming environment. If you are looking for a place that has a European bistro type feel, this is definitely it. It’s ideal for solo date nights, actual date nights, and even groups - I saw all three, and granted, it’s not a large place. Now when it comes to food, I may need to return to try an actual meal, but what I had was simply the Pommes Frites with Parmesan cheese, and it was delicious. I eyed a meal next to me which was a steak, and that looked absolutely delicious. They also seemed to be a hit for their mussels. The ambience itself as I mentioned, gives a bistro feel. Lots of sports shirts on the ceilings and walls, and you may spot a few trinkets indicative to South of France. The later was what actually drew me. Haha I should mention, the entrance is very tight. People will bump into you nonstop. But there is a bit more room in the interior. Nonetheless, it is certainly a place worth giving a try.

Owner is extremely rude. Doesn’t know how to run a business and treat patrons with respect. Please don’t support this business.
