A flawless vegan experience from start to finish. The staff—from the maître d’ to the bartender to the runner—operated like a seamless team, delivering warm, attentive service that elevated the entire evening.
The La Vie en Rose mocktail, the grilled chicken paella, and the cider gouxa were all gluten-free and exceptional.
The La Vie en Rose was light, floral, and perfectly refreshing. The paella was cooked to perfection—savory, balanced, and deeply satisfying. And the cider gouxa was a decadent yet light burst of sweetness to close the meal.
A thoughtful, beautifully executed experience.
One of the best vegan restaurants we've been in - and we've been in many! The food was just delicious, with amazing textures and well-balanced flavours. The cocktails were also flawless. I recommend at 100%.
Went here for brunch and I've been dreaming about it since. The pressed croissant with strawberry balsamic drizzle and drops of whipped cream was mouth watering. My mouth is watering thinking about it again. Also the dips were so good and the bread that came with it was literally heavenly. I will be back. I need to try everything.
Unreal. We had the duck confit, beef with quail egg, cheese board, and chicken paella with caramel chocolate cake for dessert. Everything is vegan and delicious! Service is also excellent!
Feels like an oasis in the massive Sahara of non vegetarian food scene of NYC
I went to experience vegan food served beautifully in a gorgeous setting. This place didn't disappoint me at all. We loved the bright and beautiful patio area. Service was excellent and the server knew all about the dishes on the menu.
I preferred their appetizers as other dishes sounded too meaty, and we were old they taste and feel almost as meaty as real meat
As a life long vegetarian i would prefer not to eat them. I want Vegan food that looks beautiful taste yumm and is absolutely kind. I would like to try their menu which is as close to vegetarian as possible. I am going to visit the city again soon and i am going to try all of the menu which doesn't look, tadte and feel like meat.
Their desserts are to change the way we eat food. I want to eat desserts before i eat my main course. That what we do in Ayurveda and in my Homeland of Rajasthan in India. My homeland/ town is famous for excuisite food that's can be made with a few ingredients that are harvested in winter crop in the desert. My hometown is famous for the most amount fo savoury snacks and sweets. So i know how to seek good kind and gorgeous looking food. Le Beaque is an oasis in the massive dessert of non- veg food in massive NYC.
Run don't walk! Best Pâté, Escargot, and Mushroom Paella in the game. I would come here every day if I could. The flavor of the food is insane. Make sure to get the brioche with the pâté. Trust.
Insanely delicious- truly my new nyc obsession
Worthwhile. The culinary offerings are enhanced by the professional staff. Le Basque French Vegan Restaurant provided a great setting for our group. The quality exceeds the price point. I have plans to return!
Delicious creative food and an incredible experience for a night out

One of the best meals of my life. Flavors were rich and complex. Couldn’t believe some of these items were vegan. The romesco chicken and pate with brioche were standouts for us. Will definitely be back!
We had a fabulous meal here for our anniversary! Really fun to find vegan Basque food!
I’ve dined here twice in the last few months and had wonderful experiences on both occasions. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere.
This place is a gem. Upscale, artful, and full of bold French-Spanish flavors. I tried the faux-gras starter, heirloom tomato salad, and romesco grilled 'chicken' all absolutely delicious. The attention to detail and presentation was next-level. You'd never guess it's vegan, and I can't wait to go again!
The food and service were exceptional. My party shared the vegan cheeseboard and the texture and taste were virtually identical to milk based cheese. My main dish was the vegan port beef bourguignon. It reminded me of real beef brisket only better. The accompanying vegetables were out of this world. This was a dining experience I will never forget!
