One of the best vegan restaurants in new york city. Best french vegan spot!!

Le Basque in Union Square has seafood-inspired dishes that tasted very authentic. Our favorites were the grilled chicken paella and the cider goxua (apple crumble dessert). The warm staff and cozy ambiance made the whole experience even better.

I love all of Chef Vaknin's restaurants I've visited, and Le Basque is no exception! I made a work team dinner reservation here because my teammate is Vegan. This definitely impressed the group who couldn't believe several of the dishes were entirely vegan (the cheese board and the grilled chicken dishes, specifically).

Always an amazing meal. Our 3rd time here. Jonathan the waiter is excellent. He told us about the City Roots group that owns quite a few different vegan restaurants. As a result, this was a City Roots weekend wherever hit Coletta, Anixi, Willow, and finished at LeBasque.

The food is exquisite with beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is a low key, cool vibe with 1920s jazz playing.

The staff is very attentive, and Freddy is an outstanding...
