Excellent cuisine and a wide variety of dishes! And most importantly, everything is always delicious, whatever you choose!

The most rude and patronising staff I’ve spoken to in my NYC holidays. As soon as I entered the restaurant with my husband we look at the food and wanted to find a seat to read the menu brochure that they handle at the entrance. As we were looking for a seat the waitress - very loudly - said “here we do first come serve serve, priority is for the people in the queue, fist you queue for the food then take a seat” (can’t remember word by word as my husband got so angry that we left the menu at the counter and walked away).
We left our hotel in Brooklyn and came directly to to face that rude person. We haven’t even took a seat before been shouted at.
Do not recommend if you appreciate good service.

HEALTHY ORGANIC VEGAN DINNER! Many choices and options. When you are hungry, they make your dinner plate right in front of you, promptly.
I got the spicy chili sin carne (was good, appropriate and not too spicy), with free range tofu, extra protein, with superseed avocado; red beet detox, healthy; jasmine green tea for a little pep, chocolate raw cake for dessert, oh so nice!
A great healthy Vegan restaurant choice for the Upper East Side, Organic and convenient.
I'll be back!
Thank you!

A vegetarian soup of the day was light and good for my acid stomach. The vegie dish was plain and simple and easy on my digestive system. Simple meal affordable price, and very kind manager Corban gave me all the details I needed. Thank you

From the lay-out of its website to the layout of its Lexington Ave. restaurant interior, Le Botaniste creates warm and inviting digital and real-life environments that reflect its emphasis on interconnected sustainability. On the website the company is open and transparent, from the philosophic values of its founders to the caloric count of its dishes. And when you walk into the restaurant, the space invites you in down a wide set of rounded stairs onto a black & white patterned floor with warm wooden cabinets and panels rising from it and boasting detailed carvings and scrollwork. Large, colorful pots sit on warmers next to tins of fresh fixings for grain bowls and salads, and the serving staff is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. My wife and I appreciated that we didn’t need to ask what was strictly plant based and what was gluten-free, since everything is! It was easy to place our order and the food was served quickly. The dining area is relaxing and inviting; my wife and I sat in the back section bound by white, brick walls and potted plants, and lit by a ceiling of skylights. Given all the positives mentioned above, I thought the food could have been better. The squash soup and the tomato sauce in the Spicy Chili Sin Carne each tasted like it came from a jar and, although it can be subjective, I felt the chili wasn’t at all spicy. The ingredients were fresh, but they just didn’t come together in a cohesive, flavorful way. I thought the same of the veggie balls, which lacked a definitive flavor. The chocolate pecan cookie was a little too sweet for me, and the omega 3 brownie a little too dry, although I did like the taste. Once Le Botaniste dials in its dish recipes, it will be firing on all cylinders!

If healthiness and ethics is the ultimate criteria to choose food, then this restaurant may be a reasonable choice. However, we are after food, which beyond healthiness provides a good and inspiring taste. This is not a contradiction, but that's why we were very much dissapointed from this one.

Each course brought new reasons to be impressed. Their menu items are properly executed. Our party had a good experience at this restaurant. The team recalling past conversations builds relationships. This spot showed excellence throughout.

Place is super nice and food is amazing. Just be super careful about their neighbours Resveralife who are targeting women with extremely expensive cosmetics which you can’t return (they use extremely aggressive sales tactics).

The value quotient here exceeds most restaurants nearby. The feeling is upbeat and the servers are competent. I've tested several menu items and found decent quality. Speaking of service standards, all workers are remarkably pleasant. I want to come back without much delay.
