It was difficult to make a reservation via Resy, thus I visited as a walk-in. It's a lovely place to enjoy beautiful dishes while feeling the brand.
Lovely exprience
I gotta say I was impressed by the food. Everything was cooked to the right temperature and seasoned to the taste. No words on the presentation and service. I would go back for the dessert I had but maybe not for the scallops. Caviar was fresh but the scallops had a strong fishy smell. Other than that I very much enjoyed the experience.
The most surprising me is the desserts.
Great location to visit. Food & service met expectations.
Matcha latte was divine. Iced hazelnut latte had great flavor. Jardin Matcha dessert was also to die for. Strawberry Charlotte dessert was okay. Laura provided excellent service. My friend is allergic to walnuts and Laura made sure the desserts we picked didn’t have walnuts.
Completely worth it! All of the staff provided a spectacular experience and the atmosphere is beautiful.

From the moment you step into the café, you’re embraced by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is beautiful and the food is outstanding for sure. The staff is exceptionally attentive.
I did have to wait a little for my dessert, but to my surprise, it was gifted to me as a goodwill! Thank you, Louis Vuitton, for your impeccable service and attention to detail. It was a pleasure to visit you.

Outstanding artistic drinks and food but do not come hungry (for breakfast menu). 🙂
This is mainly for the vibe and service.
Do not waist your time ! Huge lines, incompetent stuff that simply don’t care l, you will simply waist your time and won’t enjoy it, we stood in a huge line, were very clear that we don’t have reservation (which is impossible to make), they told us to wait in line, ONLY at the end of the line they said reservations only, bad experience in the overhyped place that take advantage of that hype, do not go there

A very nice cafe on the fourth floor of the Louis Vuitton store. It's not the store (5th Ave) that looks like suitcases stacked on top of each other, but the one opposite with a giraffe and an ostrich.
The atmosphere is very pleasant. If you are a big fan of LV, you have come to the right place. The Louis Vuitton logo can be seen on many dishes, the food itself and tableware. There is also a small menu with delicious dishes.
Truffle egg, sole, Monogram waffle with caviar and Rossini burger were excellent in taste and of high quality.
Big thanks to Omar and his professional staff, who were all very friendly, polite and always accommodating to us.

Creative and tasty food. Loved the truffle eggs, flower ravioli and bok choy. The atmosphere was perfect. We had an issue with one of our dishes and Omar the manager went above and beyond to show graciousness and hospitality. His kindness was one of the highlights of the meal!

The waiter said that I will have to wait because they needed a break and then the food that was vegan had beef in it.

Tourists will cream their TikTok pants dining here (as evidenced by all the rave reviews so far). This review isn't for them. This review is for the jaded NYC local who wants to know if it's worth the pain and suffering of securing a reservation + the pain and suffering of depleting their wallet, to come here so their visiting relatives can have a high-end NYC Christmas experience.
I say no. But if you must come here, here's what you need to know:
- The store that looks like LV bags isn't done. The store across the street on E 57th St is where you have to go for both store and cafe.
- They have no idea what they're doing right now, so they're making everyone line up just to even enter the store--even if you have a cafe resy. Don't let them make you wait in the freezing cold: go inside and then find someone to show your cafe rest. However...
- ...The right hand doesn't speak to the left hand--or in this case, the store staff seem to have no connection to the cafe staff. So even if you do have a resy, the store staff need to manually call the cafe staff to verify your reservation. I have no idea why the process is so convoluted. You'd think all that money would have bought a more efficient system.
- Some of the front door staff--esp. the security guards--are power-tripping bullies. Don't let them push you around. Because they will.
- Expect to pay ~$25 for appetizers, and ~$40-60 for entrees. Portions are minuscule, even if the presentations are more Instagrammable than a Kardashian boudoir shoot.
- The food is so saturated with LV branding that you'll think you stepped into a Mad Men meeting with Vuitton himself.
- What's worth getting: Crisp Monogram Waffle with caviar, Le Burger '1898' (even if it IS $36), Vanilla Entremet, Hazelnut Entremet, and Barlett Pear Tart
- What's worth skipping: Monogram Flower Ravioli (blander than Taylor Swift's potato salad), Black Bass (see Ravioli), Scallop Soufflé (interesting but tiny and wayyyy too salty), Lobster (laughably tiny and boring), Chocolate Entremet (all darkness, no joy).
If you're new to luxury fashion brand restaurants--and NYC, for all its sophistication, has woefully few of them--then you'll probably be super impressed by all that this LV cafe has to offer. If you've actually left the country and, say, visited the Chanel restaurants in France or the Prada cafes in Italy, you'll likely find this a fantastically overpriced disappointment.
That's my $0.02. Your snark may vary.
