This small cafe is easy to miss when walking by, however hard to forget after stopping in. Hannibal, Paula & Madeline leave a lasting impression. Much more personal experience than Starbucks & better quality coffee. They care about their craft & more importantly they care about their customers. Thank you for always being positive & brightening my day!

The coffee was OKAY at best and the rest went downhill immediately. Here is the scenario that unfolded. This was my very first time here and I wanted to give it a try. I ordered a decaf Americano and the young woman behind the counter made one for me. I sat at the counter and was sipping my drink and decided to take a few selfies of myself and some photos of my own reflection in the mirror right in front of me when the African American gentleman behind the counter asked me in a very loud voice “are you taking a photo of me?” So I explained that I was taking a selfie of myself. Long story short, as I was about leave I was admiring the paper cups on top of the cappuccino machine and picket up one by holding it from the bottom so I could see it better, then as I put it back he grabbed it and flung it violently over my head and said “Don’t touch the cup and then put it back because you have germs on your hand and I don’t know where your havre have been” So I said to him “Are you angry with me? Because the way you threw the cup was pretty violent” and he replied “Yes I’m angry. I don’t have time to argue with you”.
I can tell you one thing: I work in the restaurant business and you can be sure that this type of AGGRESSIVE and CONFRONTATIONAL behavior will only cause customers to not come back and tell all their friends to stay away. Additionally do not believe any of the responses from the ‘owner’ who says to email him and he would love to make it up to you’ The owner does NOT care because he won’t respond to your emails.

From the outside you will be fooled into believing that this is a tranquil place where you can grab a cup of delicious coffee and enjoy it with some peace and quiet. But that would be asking for too much. The employees that work there seem to think that the customers enjoy hearing their personal conversations because even though this is a very small place, the employees seem to feel the need to talk very very loudly that we the customer are literally forced to be an unwilling listener. This is not a one time thing. I have been there multiple times and it’s the same thing. Really loud personal conversations that make you not want to do back to that place again.

Stale chocolate croissant, tastes like it’s a day or two old. I got sick from it. The employees are rude and unfriendly. Will never come back.

This is the number 1 cafe location. Extremely kind and knowledgeable people in here. They were very welcoming and I will definitely be coming back to THIS location. These people work well together and you can tell. They even told me they are all in Barista school. This place had a good vibe and very good food. You cant get that everywhere. I was so impressed with the service that I asked them there names … the lovely names were Hannibal, Paula and Madeline (the chef). God Bless you guys. Thank you for all that you do ❤️

You have an Extremely rude morning cashier , please do something about it because it makes the experience very unpleasant. Other than that it’s a cute coffee shop , very clean , with tasty options.

Normally not one to leave a review like this but this experience earlier today disappointed me. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a latte. When i got the pastry it was super stale. I told the barista and she kind of fought with me about it - stating they don’t do refunds and they get their pastries fresh everyday. The pastry did not feel fresh and I was simply going to ask if i can swap it out for something else. The attitude was rude and she didn’t give me a chance to explain what I wanted. The latte was yummy, I will give her that!

Le Cafe on 4th Ave is a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic coffee!!!! Not only is their coffee amazing but also is their staff. They know all their regulars - a real neighborhood spot!

I love starting my day here! Paola, Hannibal, Madeline, and the whole team are super warm and make you feel like family coming home. The coffee quality is top-notch, the cappuccinos are always made the right temp with the perfect amount of froth/foam, and don’t even get me started on the bagels and pastries - absolutely delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Don't miss out on this neighborhood gem.
