They got the French bar a vins down pat with the fashionably horrendous service and tables on top of one another. The place was only barely redeemed by their earlier opening time than other area natural wine bars, they actually have some decent wines, and they have an outdoor heater. Not really their fault, yet it kind of is, inasamuch as they don't advocate/involve themselves in beautification efforts, but there's so much trash and grime all around.

Rude service . They have a guy outside who is sort of a bouncer and is frankly rude and not helpful. Terrible service , and I was not really impressed with their wine selection or the loud and rowdy atmosphere inside . There are better wine bars nearby , skip this one

This is a great a place, local with tons of people. If you're out of town this is a good local place to visit, go downstairs, there's a live dj the vibe changes completely then tthe upstairs. I had fun in good company. Have some cash on you in case you need it at the entrance Have fun rookies !

I’m a neighbor. I live on Ludlow st a half block from Le Dive.
The hostess is amazing and very friendly. She likes my dog. She got us a table. Was feeling really good!
Then we sat 20 minutes…. Waitress shows up - we order an Al’s and a High Life (she seemed disappointed in our order) and then we wait another 15 minutes while we watch everyone else around us, who were seated after us, get cocktails and the dog next to ours get a bowl of water
We got up and left before the drinks ever came - and I felt too embarrassed about the whole situation to loop back in with the hostess to say we were leaving because the service was dismissive and felt exclusionary

Very cute night cap spot. The bartender tonight (we are writing this live from the bar) is extremely hot and charming, had cute curly hair, great biceps and a wild back arch when he leans over. Would recommend 100%

Looking for a $25 lukewarm, vermouth heavy martini, served by surly waitstaff? This is your spot. This restaurant creates such a palpable ambiance of self aggrandizement it should be studied. Upon seeing empty tables at 10PM, one might sit. When one sits, one is visited by the Grailed fairy who works the front door and condescends to say “we understand that you sat yourself” in one of the many empty tables.
If you want to be sneered at by people who don’t pay their own rent, look no further.
