The restaurant has gotten significantly more expensive since my last visit which was admittedly many years ago. The least expemsive bottles of wine were $72 which is a bit high for a small neighborhood place. Due to the tiny size of the dining room, it was often too noisy, with a boisterous group of 8 next to us. But the servioce was friendly and efficient and the food was solidly good.
We love Le Gigot and surprisingly only recently discovered it. We have had dinner and brunch and found both meals to be outstanding. Food was fresh, well seasoned and well portioned. For dinner, we tried the Fish in a lemon caper sauce and the Boeuf Bourguignon. Very memorable. For brunch we had an omelette and a benedict with eggs cooked to perfection (I'm picky), with herb potatoes that melted in your mouth. The service was attentive, not overbearing. The space is intimate...
Food was very good and the previous reviews were accurate. The service was excellent. When you go to a French restaurant and most of the customers are speaking French, you have a pretty good idea it will be excellent and it was.
