We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Le Jardinier. The food from appetizers to entree to dessert was beautifully plated and excellently prepared. My duck entree was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and among the most tender I have had, and the blend of carrots and carrot purée, orange reduction, and wine sauce worked perfectly. The chocolate cremeaux was delicious - chocolaty yet light. Notably, the vegan ice cream was superb - I would not have known it was vegan if they didn’t say so. The service was very attentive and thorough, although the waiter was a bit inexperienced about the food. They were very generous helping us celebrate our anniversary, which I really appreciated.
Dietary restrictions: One member of our party has celiac disease, and they were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable.

There was always a problem with the lights in the private room. We asked the restaurant staff to report the problem and found the manager. He looked at us directly and had a very bad attitude. After explaining a few words, he turned around and left.

The wine pairings fit so perfectly, I may be ruined on drinking wine with dinner at most places now. Thanks to all the staff who made it such a special night for us. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area or traveling to NYC.

I had a phenomenal lunch experience from June 2024. The name of the rice dish has escaped me, but it was truly exceptional in flavor. The plant-based ice cream is the best ice cream I have ever had! I think about it every time I debate to order ice cream at a restaurant. The staff are very personable and friendly. Great work from the chef and servers!

My friend and I ordered the tasting menu with an option each of the wine pairings. The food had so much potential but really needed just a touch more salt to bring it all together. The wines paired very well with the dishes though and the star of the night was the prestige wine pairing. If you can afford it, I'd definitely recommend choosing it over the regular one.
