Mixed review, but overall I would recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is lovely, the service was good. In the reservation, I asked for a table with space for a walker, and that was accommodated. My food and cocktail were okay-ish, but the dessert was divine. Specifically, I had a goat-cheese, mushroom, and spinach omelet, and a "G&T Francaise." The omelet was not so good, mostly because the filling was mostly tough, stringy spinach, and because the other ingredients were not evenly spread throughout. The cocktail (which was served at lunchtime) was basically a giant glass of pure gin, so after 1/4 of the drink, I had to stop because I was getting drunk. I'm a bit of a lightweight, but one drink is not usually a problem! Finally, for dessert, I ordered a peach melba crepe, which was one of the best things I've ever tasted in my entire life - pure ambrosia. I already want to go back for another one. The service was good: they were very attentive, and in true French fashion, they didn't mind when we lingered over 2 hours (although we ate at 1:45, so there probably wasn't a huge demand for tables at 3:30).

Our young mustached bartender-server was fabulous. He is going places! Handled a huge Saturday night crowd all by himself and kept a totally cool and friendly composure. But he should have had a helper. Food: The Caesar salad was among the least memorable ever. I had to order some mustard, lemon, salt, and Worcestershire to doctor it up. I don't think they put anchovies in the dressing at all; one filet was presented on top. We had a couple of tartines which were actually pretty good and our food in the past has been great.. Overall: The place has a beautiful atmosphere, good service, and we will be back. It has improved a lot since a few years ago but tonight they were understaffed (it took almost an hour for our tartines to arrive).

We were there for brunch last weekend. My husband fell ill shortly after our food was served and we had to leave early. The manager was so kind , helpful and generous. We have enjoyed many meals and happy hours here over the years and hope to have many more in the future.

Three of us arrived a bit late - subway problems - to our dinner for four, but, happily, found the fourth person seated and waiting for us. Service was very accommodating and our food - especially salads - tasty. We were able to finish in time for our concert and everyone was very satisfied.

Le Monde, a place that never disappoints me, was the perfect choice for catching up with a friend. It's been a year since my last visit, and I wanted to share some recommendations. Since my friend is new to the New York restaurant scene, I have some insider knowledge about good food. I started with the steak tartare, which was absolutely delicious. My mouth is still watering just thinking about it. I might have to return just to savor that again. Our waiter was incredibly helpful, suggesting drinks and appetizers. We decided to go with the steak tartar. For dinner, I couldn't resist the duck. It was cooked to perfection, and I ordered medium-rare. The gravy, brussels sprouts, and butternut squash purée were all equally impressive. I also had a classic old-fashioned drink, while my friend opted for the spicy margarita. Both were fantastic choices. We ended up ordering two rounds of drinks, which was a lot of fun. My friend ordered the steak Fritz, and his steak was seasoned to perfection. I got to try a piece of his food, and I was blown away by the quality. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Le Monde. The service was exceptional, and the decor was beautiful for the fall season. It was great to see fall decorations before Christmas. Thank you again for your amazing service. I'll definitely be back soon. See you next time!

On a recent Sunday evening I had a dinner party for 21 friends to help celebrate my 80th birthday. The food was well prepared and beautifully served. All seemed to agree. Khalid did a great job helping with decisions about the menu, seating and the wine list. The evening was managed by Hakim and Kara who were courteous and helpful. Based on their experience at my party several guests said they would be planing events at Le Monde in the future.
The dinner was a huge success. I was delighted.

The food was amazing. I had the mushroom ravioli with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and it was delicious. The service was even better. Our waiter LaShawny was very knowledgeable and master of his craft. He a complete gentleman and one of the best waiters I have ever encountered.
