Very nice bakery, the environment is very welcoming with all the wooden tables and it seems very healthy. We took an apple turnover and a typical croissant, fresh and good ingredients. The only thing, the orange juice is not from freshly squeezed orange juice but is more of a classic juice.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Great for a quick breakfast before heading into the museums just a few minutes away. ;)

We are tourists from the Bay Area, and we met a friend for coffee and a bite to eat here on a beautiful Fall Saturday afternoon, and this place was packed! Feels like mostly locals for the most part. Not too much to say about the food, and it felt short-staffed at the time, but it happens.

We sat at the table for more than 10 minutes and no one came to even bring the menu.

First off, I will say that the mint lemonade is an absolute must. I will get it once a week. It is not too sweet, perfectly tart, and so fresh. The brownies and tarts are delicious. On the downside, my dining in experience was sub-par. Service was pretty slow, and the food was just ok. I much prefer the bakery items. The French cream donut was also sort of a miss for me, it tasted old. Not sure if that’s how it was supposed to taste or not. Nonetheless, high stars for the lemonade and other baked good items. Also, the man working at the bakery register is always very pleasant every time I stop by!

Good quality food that tastes fresh is something that just can’t be beat! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and mozzarella melt and the iced matcha latte. Also, sitting at the community table was so much fun! They have outlets so you can charge your phone and a lot of people had their laptops and were doing their own thing. It was a really nice experience!

latte with distinct layers is cute and all but having to manually mix in the honey at the bottom was a pain. the matcha latte was clumpy and undissolved. glad they had decaf and non-dairy options though

After visiting the Metropolitan Museum, I ordered Ham & Gruyère Sandwich as my first meal in New York. It took a long time to wait for ordering or food delivery.
The food tastes average and the price is on the high side.

Very upset! ?
I was looking for a place to have lunch in the area. Based on the reviews, I liked this cafe. We had to walk 15 minutes, although there were many other places nearby. The end result is complete disappointment! The coffee is terrible, the food is not tasty! The food is very different from what I saw in the pictures here. The cafe is very noisy, reminiscent of a cafeteria. I did not get any pleasure from the food, drinks or atmosphere. Waste of money and time! The staff is polite.

I love this Le Pain location. It's convenient before heading to the park. This was my go to place for breakfast. I love all of their breakfast options but the Sunnyside Breakfast bowl is so good! It's filling, healthy, and absolutely delicious! The mini pancakes are also the perfect little size and portion without being too much food. Sometimes they cut up strawberries in it. But my favorite part is the bakery selection. I always pick up a fresh bread to take home but also the pastries are wonderful! Get a tart, some cookies but if you see the Pavlova, grab two! I promise it's the best thing ever! They make the best Pavlova's i've ever had.
