Took forever to get just 2 lattes and it was literal milk…if you’re going to train staff, actually guide her. Don’t just stand there and watch her fail, she was clearly nervous and had no idea what to do.

We have eaten at Le Pain numerous times from California to New York City. Today was the first time we’ve had a problem. Told the waiter numerous times we were celiac and out comes the food with bread. When we remind him he takes off the bread off the bread like it being by my spoon is ok and then argues with me. Then I hear the cook arguing in the back. Ridiculous behavior. Do yourself a favor and go to another location. If cross contamination was an issue then when we said we have a wheat allergy would have been the best time to say we can’t accommodate you and I would have said thank you and gladly left with appreciation for the he honesty.

Ordered 2 lattes. Got instead 2 regular, already cold with a milk.
Ate breakfast with my pretty large family and loved it. The location was close to Grand Central LIRR, and the menu options were all very good! Food came out quickly, despite there being a sizable crowd. Loved the breakfast bowl and mini pancakes. The cappuccino was served with impressive latte art. We stayed for a few hours and didn’t feel rushed by the staff, who were all very nice and accommodating!

Bakery is amazing! Food on the regular menu was okay. Pancakes came with 1 TBSP of syrup. Ridiculous. And they charge you if you want more. Avocado Toast was too citrusy. Had the absolute worst server. Took him 25min to greet us, it was packed and busy but he attended to other tables who sat down after us. He also cleaned up a large table instead of bringing our food out which sat in the window for 15min. By the time it got to us it was cold. Multiple other people saw the food and passed it on numerous occasions and no one brought it to us. He brought us someone else’s drink. He didn’t do the modifications to our food that we asked. We had to track him down to get our bill (at this point it was dead). This guy should not be a server he does not have the executive function, slammed or not with many tables he made many other mistakes not mentioned. Horrible experience. I recommend the place if there’s no chance you get the same server. Will not return to any of their locations because of this, personally.
