This packed gem is a great place to stop for takeaway, but after a looong walk, it was a treat to grab a table and enjoy a salmon tatine ( a French open faced sandwich on freshly baked bread) and a cup of steaming hot fragrant lentil soup.

Actually we were looked after very well after a shaky start. On arrival a very scary waitress was quite vocal about what we were and were not allowed to do. Food was good and they catered well for pickey children’s like and dislikes, and the soups and sandwiches were ace

Be mindful of the way you treat your customers.Customers of all races and genders should be treated with equal amounts of respect. I came in to purchase a couple of different pastries for my team this morning and I patiently waited in front of the desserts window to be serviced no team team members approached or acknowledged me. I look around a bit and figured maybe they were busy. Then a team member a short guy with dark hair and an earring addressed the gentleman behind me asking him if they were ready to order which is the customer service I expected but did not receive At that point he directed that customer ahead of me. So I spoke up and said sir I've been waiting here before him and he just motioned his hand to the counter annoyed. I was not acknowledged at all if you will not have respect for customers of all races and genders you shouldn't be open for business. I decided to take my business elsewhere. My company will never cater with Le Pain Quotidien because of this experience.

Best coffee and croissants!! I highly recommend the vegetarian ommelete. They offer gluten free options. Around 50 usd for 2 people.

Came here for "brunch" with my 9 year old daughter . was seated promptly no water was given . My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle came with berries & whip cream with a side of bacon literally 2 pieces. She also had oj. I ordered the 3 eggs scrambled with side salad, the dressing for salad was really good the bread amazing, asked for butter never got it . the eggs were too well done almost burnt didn't care for them .The coffee omgg amazing. I would go back definitely for the coffee. Had to look for the guy never brought the butter, napkins or water/ Towards the end when i asked for my check i asked another employee to get me water. She was amazingly kind even offered ti fill my daughters water cup. She's the reason i gave it 4s stars lol .

I am a loyal patron of many Le Pain Quotidien for some time now. Today I go to 76th & Broadway at 4:30 knowing they close at 6:00. I asked for an avocado tartine to go and the person who helped me behind the register said "let me see if the kitchen is still open". He comes back and said "the kitchen is closed because we are not busy today". What kind of business closes their kitchen one and a half before they close whether they are busy or not? Answer: Unprofessional, lack of customer service, and uncaring. Even before this happened today my experience at this location with their food lacked compared to the others locations I frequent. I should have gone to the Le Pain Quotidien at 60 W 65th Street. I would give them a rating of seven stars!

I like the healthy options that are available. The food is decent and the waffle is a proper Beglian waffle - not as many other diners will advertise on their menus. There's not enough people working here - not waiters' issue, the service is slow in terms of getting someone's attention for orders or to get a check but they are all awesome once they see you.

Stopped by the 7th Avenue location for breakfast this morning between the hotel and Penn Station. I don’t think that I ever had a perfect baguette until this morning. The crust was crispy and the interior was so soft and delicious. The ham and cheese omelet was perfectly made and the sunny side breakfast bowl with it sunny side egg was as filling as it was healthy. Our server, Andy, was friendly and attentive. When we chatted about the restaurant and the food he was as knowledgeable about the ingredients of the bread as he was about the philosophy of the restaurant concept and it’s founder. It was a refreshing experience!

My parents came to pick up coffee and food to bring to my grandparent's place in Bronxville. There were some complications with the order which took a while to fix. The food took a while to make, package, and serve. When we finally got our coffee, we realized that the heat from the coffee had literally melted the cop and coffee got everywhere! Both of the coffee cups had melted. We got our coffee back even though that took a while to repair. They were really nice so that made up for the incident and the food tasted really good. I also loved the coffee. I always love Le Pain Quotidien and would die for their avocado toast and matcha lattes. I used to love their six-vegetable tart which I would love for them to bring back. I loved their kale salads and hot spiced apple cider. This one incident shouldn't reflect badly on them but maybe be a little more careful with the temperature of the coffee.

I visited the le PainQuotidien booth in Bryant Park New York City. There is also a Le Pain Quotidien restaurant at the corner. This was my second visit to the booth. I also went yesterday believing that it would be faster and the same service and product quality. Yesterday and today there was only one employee in the booth and she was slow, she was doing other things not taking orders, and indifferent to the customer. The booth did not have the pastry that I desired and she told me to go to the restaurant. After placing my order and paying is when she started making coffee. It was 11:10 am and she didn’t have coffee made. As you can guess, I won’t be going to the booth again. Choose the restaurant on 40th street for better service and experience.
