Staff talk among themselves all the time. Not focusing their jobs. Horrible service.
Always liked this chain, but the surprise add-on to the bill isn’t cool. We left a decent tip but I guess it wasn’t enough(?).
friendly service the Spanish waiter and her daughter made my day ❤️.
Le Pain Quotidien at the intersection of West Broadway and Warren Street stands out as a refined retreat in the civic core of Lower Manhattan. Just one block from City Hall Park, the NYC Municipal Building, and the New York City Council chambers, it sits at the nexus of government, commerce, and community life. The café is steps away from major subway lines, including the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, R, and W trains, making it one of the most conveniently located spots for downtown meetings, coffee breaks, or focused work sessions.
The space offers more than proximity—it delivers atmosphere. The scent of freshly baked croissants, tarts, and espresso greets you before you reach the door. Inside, warm wood tones and natural lighting soften the city’s intensity, creating a setting that balances utility and comfort. It’s a known haunt of local officials and city staff, many of whom stop in for a quick espresso or a quiet moment between sessions.
During a recent visit with my service dog Brooklyn Meeko, I was welcomed by Juana and the team with their usual grace and precision. Juana’s espresso remains unmatched—deeply aromatic, technically clean, and served with care. The pastries are textbook-perfect: croissants with a crisp shell and tender interior, tarts layered with balanced acidity and sweetness.
This café functions as both a public refuge and a civic lounge—where elected officials, neighborhood regulars, and visitors coexist over expertly crafted food and drink.
10:54 PM hanging out with my friend Meeko the Bernadoodle he is a 2 year old male, who loves to say hello to pretty girls. I’m getting an espresso maybe avo toast for brunch. Then we will pick up woody the Catahoula Male 7 year old. From there we will probably be going to the dog pool at Sirius
Back with Woody Juana is not here 🥺
Just had a coffee. Friendly and quick service, no loud music and clean bathrooms.
I've been visiting this place for a few days now because I like the food, but the heat in this store is infernal. I don't know how the employees can endure their entire shift; the heat is unbearable. I initially thought it was a one-day problem and would be resolved, but I've been back several times and it's the same situation. Please fix this because it's inhumane to remain in such high temperatures in an enclosed space.
Had a great experience. I went with my parents and was served by Al Amin. He ensured we got everything to our liking from very hot coffee to our breakfast options. The food was very fresh and the entire restaurant had a great French vibe.
The service and atmosphere were great.
The server, Juana was very pleasant, it is one of my favorite places to eat in Tribeca.

I stopped by for the first time today and it was the best customer service. The cashiers Jojo and Gianna welcomed me as soon as I walked in and they were so quick to give me my pastries and my drink. 10/10 would definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood!

Takeout if you must- atmosphere was trash. Capp with oat milk was awful. Cheese Danish was good, no offer to heat if there was an option. There’s booth seating around perimeter and a long table and chairs in center- after purchase at around 10a, with just a few patrons in shop, and no signs that I could see, was told I couldn’t sit without a reservation at any booth. No offer to give reservation… very unwelcoming. $30 for unhappiness… Should have gone to the diner down the street or got my regular Dunkin after maybe getting a piece of French bread from here beforehand (they have no meat ?)

I have been eating at these establishments around the city for years. All of them have good, fresh and healthy food.
Today, I had the avocado toast with smoked salmon and gazpacho soup. They say the gazpacho soup is new however, I remember them having this in the past and it has always been delicious.
The decor is fabulous, spread out, pleasing environment, good lighting and soft music. As you can tell I am a big fan.
I just edited my past review. The one issue I had was the service was too slow. Not anymore. The West Broadway location now has fast, efficient and friendly service. If possible, I would give over five stars!

Very nice atmosphere and the food was terrific. Unfortunately the portions (at least the Belgian waffle) are a bit small for the price. All in all, highly recommended.
