We went for the Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner. With wine and tip, $300 per person. The service was attentive, but the food was decidedly mediocre. We gave up on the over-salted lobster bisque, and my filet of beef was disappointing--covered in a bland sauce to hide that it had be cooked hours ago and reheated. This was not worth the price, and the city is full of mid-priced French restaurants with much better food.
I used here for lunch with a friend for restaurant week. The food is perfect. It is comfortable to stay in, the restroom is clean, service is perfect. I had a duck, it is a little bit salty for me. If the bread comes together, much better. We had a dessert and that was so nice.
But herbal tea - tin. The water froze from the cold cast-iron kettle, and the cold mug cooled this "tea" even more. So, the tea was not brewed. There was barely warm boiling water in the mug.
They asked to change. A teapot with boiling water was served, but the taste and smell of herbal tea was still almost absent. Either they poured the same portion of grass, or a teaspoon of grass for half a liter of water is not enough.
