I recently visited this Haitian restaurant and was disappointed with my experience. The food did not meet my expectations in terms of flavor or quality, especially considering the prices. For the cost, I expected authentic taste and better portions, but instead the dishes felt bland and not well-prepared and seasoned. Spent over $150.00 and I felt like the food wasn’t worth that price at all. Maybe it’s best to lower the prices if the food is not even tha tasty. While the staff was polite and the atmosphere was okay, the overall value was lacking. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return or recommend it given the high prices and unsatisfying food.
I would rate my experience a good 5.5/10 High cost, the fish was hard like it was cooked 2 days before and just given to us, it wasn’t fresh.

The food in this restaurant varies greatly, from very good to very average, but the interior design and decor are very neglected, and the staff, completely unprofessional, knows nothing about the restaurant business or customer relations. On our third visit, we wanted to return a dish we didn't like. The server, who was very unfriendly and unprofessional from the moment we arrived, refused to take it back on the pretext that we had ordered it and charged us for it even though we had only eaten one bite. The server and the owner on the phone refused to listen, to the point that the police had to arbitrate the dispute. The dish was ultimately settled because the restaurateurs (who are restaurateurs in name only) were short-sighted, preferring to prioritize paying the few dollars they owed over customer satisfaction and loyalty. What their amateurism ignores is that, in the long run, they have lost several hundred dollars because, not only will we not set foot there again, but we will also not recommend it to anyone! A place that is therefore best avoided!

Came in excited for our first taste of Haitian food. Left confused, disappointed, and emotionally scarred.
We should’ve listened to the reviews. But no — we believed, we hoped… we suffered.
The smell hits first — a potent mix of old grease, damp mop, and sadness. Flies circled like they had reservations. The vibe? If a waiting room and a storage closet had a musty love child.
Our waiter was clueless. Couldn’t explain a thing on the menu. Every question led to a deeper spiral of confusion. We ordered blindly — big mistake. Maybe the food had potential, but we were too busy dodging flies and questioning our life choices.
Dear owner: Please don’t respond. Save your breath. Spend it deep-cleaning, repainting, and hiring someone who’s heard of customer service.
Haitian food is beautiful. This place? A disgrace.

First off, when I walked into the restaurant, the tables were messy and only one person was working at the front trying to handle customers and clean the entire place. I have to say, come on my fellow Haitians, we have to do better! It really wouldn’t hurt to hire one or two more people to help out and improve the overall experience for customers. Secondly, the food took forever to come out. Keep in mind, I’m eight months pregnant and was starving! When the food finally arrived, it was a huge letdown. I ordered turkey in sauce with rice and beans, but instead I got fried turkey with just a little sauce on the side. The turkey was dry, lacked seasoning, and had no salt. The rice was just okay, but even that was missing flavor. How do we, as Haitians, mess up rice and beans? Seriously, it was disappointing. Lastly, my fiancé and cousin ordered Haitian patties, which took even longer to arrive. And when they finally did, they were burnt to the point that the inside was dry and unappetizing. To make it worse, there was only half an egg inside each one, not even a whole egg! I came in wanting to support a Haitian/Black-owned business, but y’all really need to step it up. This could be a great spot, but right now, it’s just not living up to the potential. Do better please!!
