Excellent food, very nice and romantic vibe. Special shoutout to Olivia, she took incredible care of us and was very accommodating when one of our friends was running late due to a work emergency.

First time, didn’t know what to expect. Not a big fan of French food but my server walked me through the entire menu and gave her recommendations based on what I liked. She hit the mark every time. And the drinks, if you are a martini bb then just say “I’ll have the martini your way” and do not think about anything else.

Ile Flottante. That’s all you need to know.
Ok not really. I haven’t had a bad dish here between their regularly rotating specials, pate, duck, escargot, the list goes on. Amazing space and service. Perfect for either a date or a small group of friends.

Fake French food
Best classic French food this side of the puddle. Four courses worth the fixed price and way cheaper than a flight to Paris
Amazing dining experience.

Tripes à La Mode and Île Flottante are still on the menu. All is right in the World. Thank you Chef Nasr & Chef Hanson, and rest in peace, Monsieur Treboux.

Probably 2024’s most exciting restaurant opening, we lucked out and got reservations on day two. Been a few more times since and the menu, execution, and service were fully realized from the start. Pâté, omelette, frog legs, escargot are all exceptional. For the adventurous I implore you to dine on the “Veau d’Or”, sweetbreads in a mustard sauce. The Poulet à l’Estragon contains considerable depth, owing to the Vin Jaune and Morels.

Ok so the hype is real, the experience at this restaurant is amazing. We came for my birthday and the whole meal felt really special. I loved all of the little cow details everywhere and our server pointed out one of the original hand written menus hanging on the wall. For the $125 pre-fixe you get bread and butter, an appetizer, a main, salad and dessert. It's a lot of food!! The pate en croute and the duck were incredible. Of course the famous il flotante for dessert was delicious but the chocolate gratine was even better. Bonus, you get a third dessert of beignets. A lovely special occasion restaurant that feels cozy and intimate without being too formal and with exceptional food!

Elevated classic French cuisine done without pretension. Every dish was perfectly executed and the little complimentary dishes and playful drink menu made the meal outstanding end to end. However, what makes Le Veau d’Or distinctive is the service. The waitstaff made the experience more than just a few great plates of food. Can’t recommend more highly.

Honestly if I live around this place, I'd come here a few times a week. Food was incredible, and the vibe is so nostalgic of New York but very French. I hope the quality doesn't go down over time, new fav French spot in town. The duck was to die for, so was the pate, escargots, or the steak & fries. Salad was also super fresh and crunchy. A++ for everything.
