Service is fast, though line may be long at lunch time. Service is very good. Though I had different vegetable pizza at different times. Crunchie and very good pizza dough. Great to bit into.. nice food. But tables are not regular wiped clean and most patrons dont clean after themselves.

Idk what happened to this place since the last time I came but the alcapurrias got a lot smaller it was about the size of a mozzarella stick for $3.50 and it looked very unappetizing. No papa rellena barely any food out at lunch time? And I find it very rude when I speak Spanish to the staff and they respond in English. I’m gonna go enjoy El Chévere instead.

Their kitchen has mastered the art of creating return customers. Workers combined promptness, effectiveness, kindness and professionalism. Where Lechonera La Isla stands makes it visible to potential customers. We all cleaned our plates because the food tasted so good. This spot gives you good value.

This place is so small that in order for you to step in the front door, the cook has to step out the back door . (Lol) That said they make up for it with big taste!!! Seating is very limited as you can imagine . A parking ticket is almost promised, Over all a great spot for a quick bite or an all out belly busting meal . Authentic Spanish / Latin cooking.

Found this place while waiting for the bus. got to tell you, the food was absolutely delicious. Rice and beans were on point! the patitas (pigs feet) had to be the best I've every had besides my late abuelas. service was fast and very friendly staff. I defiantly recommend and i will absolutely be back, best Puerto Rican food in Harlem.
