Without doubt, the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Gen Taos - soggy and over battered. Dim sum - over coked, all stuck together and falling apart. Spring rolls - beyond greasy, all batter and hardly any filling. Chicken with cashews - bland and no flavor. Overall … the WORST Chinese food I’ve had.

We ordered chicken and cashew nuts, general Tsao’s chicken, pork dumplings with chilli sauce and spring rolls. The chicken was cheap, processed and disgusting, the dumplings were soggy, stuck together and tasteless and the spring rolls were dripping in grease. All in all a terrible meal and a pricey $75.

Nice and quiet restaurant where you can have a conversation with your friends. Food is always good and consistent.

I grew up on Sichuan food back in China, and eat so hard in every country every city.
Their classic Sichuan dishes are absolutely authentic — you can’t go wrong with any of them.

If you’re not into spicy stuff, you must try TEA SMOKE DUCK and STEAMED SEABASS. These two are not only the best in New York, but honestly, among the best even compared to Los Angeles.

Even though spicy food runs in my veins, these two non-spicy dishes are still my absolute favorites.

best Chinese food in the area, does not have the hype as some Chinese restaurants in midtown. But this place has been there for a long time and always serve authentic Chinese food

Been here multiple times and it's my favorite place in uptown. Garlic Crispy Chicken hotpot is amazing and service is great.

So so good. Relaxing environment to enjoy a full meal at reasonable prices. The menu has something for everyone but the highlights are definitely the classics - we order Mapo Dofu, green beans, and one of the dry chicken dishes every time. Service is always polite and attentive. The bar has fun drinks, too!

Excellent Sichuan restaurant. Best “chongqing” chicken in NY (could feel more soy sauce than other places). In sum, i would like to taste other dishes.

I’ve been to Legend 72 many times, and it never disappoints.💯
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the New York. The food is consistently delicious — I always order the sautéed snow pea leaves, spicy Chengdu fish fillet, scallion pancake, and the fish fillet soup with pickled vegetables. The menu is huge, with so many options that even after multiple visits, I still haven’t tried everything. Every dish is flavorful!
The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, and always makes you feel at home! If you love real Chinese food, this place is a must! 🙌
