I got up and left. As soon as we arrived he asked us what we wanted to order, we were just getting settled. They speak in English mixed with Chinese and they have no intention of understanding you when you speak to them in ENGLISH. You ask them questions about the dishes and they get angry (??????)

Great clean Chinese food. We ordered the typical NYC order and it was good and clean, but I'm excited to order again some more authentic Szechuan dishes, where I think they'll really

I’d say a gem in UWS. Basic yet good value for the money. Service may be a bit rough (as in most places in NYC) but efficient. My favorite is the Peking Duck!!!! You won’t find it as good and for less than $100 anywhere else in NYC. Don’t get put off by the basic table and chairs. Food is tasty. Generous portions. You’ll be satisfied and won’t spend an arm and leg !

I’ve ordered take out twice and have been disappointed with the food. I gave it a second chance because it’s so close to my apartment but was not worth it. The orange chicken tasted rubbery and wasn’t crispy. Not the best place for your typical Chinese takeout cravings but other reviews suggest their authentic dishes are better.

I just ordered chicken with green beans from them and I threw it away. I have never had more rubbery chicken in my life. Never ever again.

Very good Szechuan restaurant. Was recommended to me by a family friend who was born in Szechuan, China. Food is fresh and light. The Mapo, Double Cooked Pork, Spicy Chicken, and Duck were all amazing. Definitely give them a try if you are looking for extremely satisfying Szechuan food!

Sat in the lobby for 10 minutes, with the restaurant being 10 percent full. The hostess was on the phone and paid no mind to me coming in and none of the waiters approached as well. Just wanted a quick lunch, but will go somewhere else from now

High quality authentic Szechuan food! I know this because I went with a native from the region. And if you have a chance to chat with the owner, he is quite friendly and charming.

Excellent service. Excellent flavor and quality of ingredients. I'm a Chinese food snob and this restaurant makes the grade for me.
