Didnt offer to let us taste first. And then we ended up getting a bad glass. At $20 a glass you dont want something that has sat far too long in an open bottle. Maybe they forgot to seal it.

We were excited to try this charming little wine bar, as the ambiance initially seemed warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the quality of the wine was very disappointing. I ordered a Malbec, but it tasted flat, with a lack of body and character—something I did not expect .
What was even more surprising was that the glass was served without any opportunity to taste the wine first—a basic standard in any respectable wine bar. Throughout our visit, the waiter did not return to check if the wine was to my liking. When I politely mentioned the poor quality of the wine, the waiter offered no acknowledgment or attempt to address the issue and simply returned with the check. There was zero interest in understanding what was wrong or providing any alternative.
I did not finish the glass, and the lack of attention to customer experience—particularly when it comes to wine—left me very disappointed. For a place presenting itself as a wine destination, both the wine and the staff fell far short of expectations.

Fantastic romantic wine bar - very popular date spot. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly - Dennis always makes sure you have a great time! They have an extensive bottle list and if you order two glasses they'll open anything BTG.
The best part was the Service. our bartender was very knowledgeable. She was awesome.
We will definitely come back and tell friends

Met up with a friend here last night and think I might have found my new favorite wine bar. The atmosphere is so fun and energetic and with a reservation (since it's really hot in NYC right now) you can sit inside by the bar and enjoy the AC. To this end, do think they might need to get the AC cranked higher because it did get hot at the bar. The happy hour ends at 6P so get there early to partake of a good assortment of wine and snacks. Here's where I think they really provide a great experience. Their cheese and meat plates are perfectly curated. Lelabar - Give the man putting them together a promotion. Not only was he the friendliest person in there, he clearly is an artist. ⭐️ The only reason I gave a 4 on service was because it did take quite a while to get the bartender's attention initially (and it was crowded so understandable) but then he was lovely throughout. Great time. Will be back!

If you get to Lelabar, ask for the full wine menu. With 800 different wines, there's something for everyone, from the casual drinker to the most serious wine lover, including many gems. The small plates pair wonderfully with the wines. We had the Spanish charcuterie board, cherry salad, fantastic cheese board, and the meatball sandwich. Great atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Five stars! See you again very soon.

I had an outstanding experience at Lelabar! With nearly 800 different wines, their selection is truly impressive. Each wine I was suggested was right to the point. I was here over a year ago on trip to NY. They now have a full kitchen, and the creative, delicious small plates complemented the wine perfectly. It's a very busy spot with a great ambiance, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff made my visit a five-star experience all the way.

Lelabar gets it right across the board - from their stellar selection of wines to their curated list of cheese, charcuterie and menu of small bites to their beautifully designed and inviting space. The staff is warm and welcoming - they are extremely knowledgeable about their wines and will always ensure that you are drinking exactly what you’re in the mood for. They have outdoor seating in the summer, and I love sitting with a glass of orange, a fennel salad and noshing on their dangerously delicious bread. This is not only my local but go-to bar for all occasions!

Cozy Wine Bar with Stellar Service
I had a delightful experience at Lelabar, a charming little wine bar. The ambiance was warm and inviting. But what truly stole the show was our waitress, Sarah.
Sarah was attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. She helped us navigate the extensive wine list, offering thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. Her passion for wine was infectious, and she made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
We ended up trying a delicious orange wine that Sarah recommended, and it paired perfectly with the cheese plate we ordered. The selection of cheeses was impressive, and the accompaniments (artisan bread) were all top-notch.
The wine selection is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is truly outstanding. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Sarah, you're in for a real treat!
