Fantastic romantic wine bar - very popular date spot. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly - Dennis always makes sure you have a great time! They have an extensive bottle list and if you order two glasses they'll open anything BTG.
Met up with a friend here last night and think I might have found my new favorite wine bar. The atmosphere is so fun and energetic and with a reservation (since it's really hot in NYC right now) you can sit inside by the bar and enjoy the AC. To this end, do think they might need to get the AC cranked higher because it did get hot at the bar. The happy hour ends at 6P so get there early to partake of a good assortment of wine and snacks. If you get to Lelabar, ask for the full wine menu. With 800 different wines, there's something for everyone, from the casual drinker to the most serious wine lover, including many gems. The small plates pair wonderfully with the wines. We had the Spanish charcuterie board, cherry salad, fantastic cheese board, and the meatball sandwich. Great atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Five stars! See you again very soon.
