Unfortunately I am very sad to write about this, because even though I don’t live in New York I’m so upset that I won’t be able to order their amazing chicken Caesar wrap regularly. This truly was one of the food highlights of my trip to New York and was shocked at how delicious it tasted! Tip: sub the grilled chicken for chicken cutlet!

Could this pastrami and corned beef sandwich top Stein's Deli Rachel in New Orleans?

In fairness, a Rachel is different, with sauerkraut, not coleslaw. But let's compare.

Conclusion: almost, but not quite. The pastrami doesn't have as much of that signature Stein's char, the coleslaw is more crude (which I personally don't like) than sauerkraut, and the Rye bread is only unseeded and seems slightly less fresh. But...

Always a good, healthy and clean experience for me going here! Love their sandwiches, as they are hearty and healthy. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The options are endless. The atmosphere is very nice. There is an option for everyone, vegan, kosher or herbivore! lol! Oh! It’s dog friendly too!
